I am curious, did anyone like this character? I felt like she was a backstep from conrad. She wasn't comedically pathetic, she was just really bland.

If you did like her, what are your reasons?

And if you didn't, try to be specific why not.

To quote Anders. "You look...............something." I can see Bioware using her to lure in new customers. But I don't know her. She's from some website or something. More proof I don't know her. I'm sure she's a nice person. But this wasn't really her thing.

Yeah I kept waiting for her to do something....I guess you can romance her, but apart from that she seems kind of pointless. I kept her around as part of my Shepard's therapy. (She has a history of punching reporters)

Nope, didn't like her. As stated, she was bland, sounded uninterested in her delivery of the dialogue, and personally?

UGLY character model.

I do NOT mean to say that Jessica is an ugly woman at all IRL. It's just...GOD, that model looks sl*tty.

For someone that is actually a journalist - and I use that word loosely - Jessica Chobot does a pretty poor job at playing a journalist.

I liked the embedded reporter idea, and the few relevant interview things, but she was a really minor background character overall. It was extra weird that she was shoehorned in as the bisexual (human) female romance option.

I couldn't get past "wow, Chobot sounds like everything she recorded was done in one take" to really take a liking to Allers.

Yeah, I would have preferred the ghost of Emily Wong.

She definitely felt like an afterthought, none of her dialog was particularly interesting or informative.

I hated her voice acting. It was in my opinion the worst delivery of the entire ME series.

Who, the reporter person? I liked the idea but she barely ever had anything interesting to say and then all of a sudden after an interview it seemed like she was going to jump Shepard's bone too. Had to turn her down just to be safe, regardless of what the actual intention there was.
And the "voice actress" was terrible. Why some random person from IGN had to be a part of the cast at all, I don't know.

I always forget allers is in the bottom of the ship somewhere.

The voice acting for Allers is not great, its more like....average.

She was utterly useless and would have liked to see the time and money spent on her to have been spent on a better climax (not ending, but a better earth battle)
