Forgettable, even her interviews with Shepard were really lacking.

She was utterly useless and would have liked to see the time and money spent on her to have been spent on a better climax (not ending, but a better earth battle)

Yes, yes, I agree...

I'm a bad person.

Useless, annoying character. Kept her around for the bonus war assets but couldn't be arsed to give her the time of the day beyond that.

That oversexualised vapid character is an insult to our intelligence (as is the ending).

Agree that concept was interesting but delivery was extremely poor. I was really hoping for a tough war correspondent and instead i got Allers. Also fact they didn't use existing character(wong) suggests that she was just a gimmick to get Chobot into the game.

I happen to like her, because keeping Diana Allers aboard the Normandy means you get a War Asset. And if you "Charm" or "Intimidate" in her interviews, you increase the strength of some of your other War Assets.

In terms of Effective Military Strength it's still better to have her aboard the Normandy since you get no advantage at all for refusing her aboard.

she was pretty bland and pointless really. like theres not even enough to dislike.

hell the only part i liked about her was all the times trynor kept hitting on her and allers was completely oblivious to the fact, i thought that was amusing, but the rest was pretty pointless

As others have said, lacking in anything at all really. Just "meh". I was annoyed they kept cutting the few interviews you have though, fading to black instead of giving options to get some extra dialogue.

This, I let her come aboard because I thought she might bring something different, a few cheesy bland jokes and interviews later I felt different, If I ever do another playthrough, may take her for War Asset and forget about her.

Not a step down from Conrad.. Step down from Emily Wong. Can't beleive that, Emily was awesome!!

I have no feelings for Allers one way or another. I wish it'd been Emily Wong in her place, though.

I didn't like the idea of an IGN employee being in my favourite game.

I really didn't like Allers, and this had nothing to do with Jessica Chobot. I actually thought the idea of having a reporter on-board was an interesting idea, and kind of reflected how the media enjoys getting involved in present day conflicts. It made sense, and after the first interview I was looking forward to doing more. I actually always wanted to be able to play through the entire interviews, rather than answer 2-3 questions and fade to black.

BUT, I still didn't like the Allers character. She was so bland, lacking any depth beyond being a reporter. Bioware is extremely gifted when it comes to character development, and any sort of real backstory or personality would have went a long way. I always made it a priority to visit and speak with everyone on the Normandy after every mission, but whenever I would visit Allers I'd rarely get anything more than, "What do ya want???". And then when she hit on me, HAHA. I truly did laugh and tell her to get out of my cabin. I'm never keen on missing any content which is why I made sure to have her aboard, but she didn't really provide much to be missed. A little help on the war assets here and there, but nothing I couldn't have earned in one round of multiplayer.

I'll only recruit her for the War Assets. I could care less about her assets. If you know what I mean. ;)

I actually thought Chobot did a fine job as Allers my problem was that her character was barely used. She only interviewed me like 3 times and a lot of times her character came off as unsympathetic. Like hello MILLIONS of people are dying and you're talking about ratings?

I wish, for one thing, they'd actually let us answer some questions, not just fade to black.

She was... obnoxious.

And ugly.

Even if I wanted to play a Shep interested in romancing a woman (fem or otherwise) ... she would not be the one I pick. I'm not all about beautiful appearances, but... damn, that is just... that face is just...

It's not even like Miranda, who has an acceptable body and face (execpt for those TEEF... if you're so genetically perfect, why didn't your dad FIX YOUR BUNNY TEEF...)... Diana is just...

I flinched every time I saw her.

I'd rather go on a date with a vorcha.

What a forgettable character. Just because Chobot voiced her didn't mean she was interesting in any way at all. I always went to see if she had anything to say to my Shepard, but I was always annoyed by her presence.

I, like two other posters here, loved the idea but felt execution of said idea was poor. The initial War Asset score she gives was a joke, but I understood it as long as I could get more down the road. Well, what I did get down the road from her was not that much and it was very upsetting. The voice acting wasn't the worst I have heard, but she definitely did NOT sound like a reporter. No inflection whatsoever where it was needed. Her character model was in need of some serious work, especially the facial region. Looked like someone having an allergic reaction to peanuts or something. Still, I take her for what little she adds to my assets.

She was irritating. I have no problem with Jessica Chobot IRL but she's a terrible voice actor lol.

I let her join my ship thinking that the interviews would touch the "morale" and increases war assets.
I did her interviews and i banged her. I don't think was thaaaat bad of a character, it's not that she has to be important to the plot. But certainly Bioware could have implemented her as a "mass media weapon" in the war against reapers.
