Did Drew Karpyshyn have any involvement in Mass Effect 3 at all?

He is mentioned in the credits, in the "Special Thanks to the following" list, which also includes the names of people such as Holly Conrad.

After having finished the game, I can say he obviously did not.
I'm about 9 hours in, and I can already notice a difference.....

Other than being the guy who created the Mass Effect universe do any of the writing credits go to Drew?

As far as I know, he didn't work on 3. Only two writers - Walters and Weekes - remained who'd been working on ME since the first game.

So, how long until you guy's start
complaining that he should have been involved, and start saying that
he's the only reason mass effect was any good, and conveniently forget
how his books took a bashing here on the forums.

His books weren't bad at all. I think there was some complaints because Drew tried to expand the ME universe away from the Shepard perspective for the universe and at the time, people felt annoyed by a SW-like Expanded Universe to the series. Sure not all of his writings were good (he did write a lackluster book on Darth Revan) but compared to the other writers that BioWare uses for their main story writers, he is probably one of the best and one of the most memorable out of them. The only other person that did a stellar job in writing a good BioWare tale IMHO is the guy that wrote DA: O.

You sure you're not talking about Dietz? Now I know everyone hated what Dietz did because that book was just an abomination, but I like Karpyshyn's work - also where the story for ME3 was headed.

Is it the WAY COOL SUPER CYBER NINJA that gave it away?
EDIT: For the record, I've only played the games, never read the comics or books, so I really don't know who's responsible for importing their Deus Ex character into Mass Effect, but it's a tonally inappropriate character.
