I'm glad to see so many moments listed here that impacted me. This game blew away all my expectations.

One of my favorite moments is the musical interlude that Leliana sings in camp at around the midpoint of the game. It's a beautiful peaceful moment in the middle of all the chaos.

Wow.

That was just cheese on toast - nice vocal, but to put it onto a CGV was a bad move.

Spaceweed, I can see where you are coming from- although I was sort of in awe of the fact that they actually stopped in mid-game to have a bard sing a beautiful song- which was a bold move, btw, I winced at the closeups of Leliana's face while she was singing it. I would have liked it more if they had done a long shot of her or just the back of her head, because the frozen mouth and half-closed eyes looked so weird. That said, I do love that song, and I liked how the party members reacted to it as the camera panned around the camp. Especially Sten, and Morrigan's disgust with the whole thing as evidenced by her expression.

The Human Noble origin. It was my first, sitting in the dark after I got home from work on release day. The final scene where my character's father is on the ground dying and my mother wont leave his side set the bar really high for the rest of the game.

I've played all of the other origins, but none of them come even close to the tragedy of the Human Noble origin.
