Could someone tell me how good Blood Frenzy is? If it is effective, what do you guys think about this character idea?

Shield Warrior, balanced Str/Dex/Con, with an emphasis on defense. Relies on being very durable, so it isn't as critical when he's down on health, even compared to other warriors. Instead of using high strength (Dex and Con might even end up being higher) to boost his damage, he manages his health using Aura of Pain and Devour so that Blood Frenzy keeps him pumping out the hurt.
