So, I thought weapons go all the way up to 10 or X on NG+ but while upgrading my Saber and Locust they got to VII and then disappeared from the upgrade list. Is it a bug or do some of the weapons onyl go to VII? Anyone else encountered this?

maybe you need NG++ ha!

honestly I wouldn't know or really care tbh. the NG+ is yet again pretty dismal and frankly not worth the effort

It seems you have to have all your weapons at IV or V to make it to X, sadly. Quite a failure, imo. Especially if you want to try out new builds and guns, but don't want the weight overencumbrance.

No, because there a number of other weapons that I have that are currently at VIII and IX, so I don't think that's the case. After getting the Saber and Locust to VII they completely disappeared off the list. I just hope I don't have to find and pick them up again since they're all the way at the end of the game.

You need to pick up the weapon again to get the last 3 levels.
You can upgrade 7 times on the Normandy, but you need to pick up the weapon a second time for the final 3 upgrades.

Yeah, I'll go with this, because I picked up the Vindicator in NG+ and got it to X, but my Falcon is stuck at VII. Sounds reasonable and my experience supports it.

I am using the Chakram assault rifle. I could only upgrade it to 5 (I am playing a Mass 2 import lev 30+ char)....should I be able to upgrade it to lev 7? Also, since I will never find it in game...will I never be able to hit lev 10 with it?

First play through cap is V even with an import. Second playthrough cap goes up to X, but as said above, three of those have to come from finding the weapon a second time on missions.

But most of those weapons can only be found once, AFAIK. Except Eviscerator.
