I have been hearing a lot of speculation from fans that the reason why the ending is crap is because Bioware wants to sell the real ending as DLC.

Even though that might make sense from a fiscal point of view just think about how risky that is.

The game hasn't even been released in all countries yet and already there is an overwhelmingly negative backlash from fans, meta-bombs, and online polls showing contempt. 
If Bioware truly is doing as some of you claim then they have put their very brand name in peril by doing so and have threatened the financial success of the Mass Effect franchise.

I really think what is happening is that people are grieving over what is no doubt a terrible terrible ending to a once beloved franchise and are so hurt that they will believe anything.

Face it guys, this is the end and there is never going to be another end.  Mass Effect deserved better than this but there is nothing we can do about it now.
