Meh so I was off in the amount a creds they give you for silver. So lets go over it again.

30-33k per silver 25-28mins for the win

74k min 28-32mins for gold win

2 packs ever hour, EDIT: Two and 30mins hours you get 4 packs from the left over creds.

So gold offers double the chance for that rare. Still is not worth the time for silver, consdiering what it now takes to defeat gold.

excuse me? again, you seem to think that you, and you alone is detrimental to the sucess of your team, the infiltrator is not a meat shield that stands in one place for the duration of the game, flanking with the cloak can allow you get free head shots while simultaneously exposing the enemy from their cover, it can be very effective for Cerberus and geth......not so much for reapers though.

Even more laughable now that QI isn't auto win against Geth =P

Gold is a chance at more credits, but it is also high risk.

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!! Before the nerf this was posible now it is not, therefore uping the time of how long it will take you to get a specter pack. POINT PROVEN

There are so many other bugs worth fixing rather than the power and damage of most of these items/abilities. They were fine as they were, imo.

Quarian Infiltrator isn't that worthwhile anymore, being that Sabotage was the main thing it had going for it and something that was only really useful for geth/mechs anyway.

And speaking of Geth. The rocket launching geth are getting too ridiculous in terms of power and accuracy and frequency. They can fire rockets fairly quick, enough to take shields (and some health, depending on class) out in one go, and they rarely *ever* miss. I can't tell you how many times I've been struck by rockets even when I'm fully behind cover or behind obstacles (crates/wall edges/etc). On Silver and Gold, where these rocket launching geth are out in droves along with Hunters, it's just too extreme (Adepts in particular go down left and right), imo. Especially with the diluted Sabotage now for Quarian infiltrators.

This is getting funny...

So, earlier it was several Primes and Rocket Troopers and four Hunters against you, but now your whole team is there with you? What's the problem then? Is your entire team going to die if a single press of a button won't turn all the geth against each other? What, exactly, are the other members of your team for?

Besides, flanking the enemy is the best way to keep your party safe. You don't need to be in the middle of the group to snipe enemies and use sabotage. You only need a line of sight. And if you can draw a couple mooks away from your team, that's a good thing, right?

Infiltrator is not a tank.

They completely ruined Sabotage. Simply reducing hack from 2 to 1 would have been enough.

Instead of:

- Base cooldown increased from 8 to 14 seconds
- Base hack duration reduced from 12 to 10 seconds
- Rank 6 Berserk upgrade damage bonus reduced from 100% to 50%
- Delay before enemies can attack hacked robots increased from 2 to 8 seconds

Now sabotage does pretty much nothing. By the time a geth is ready to attack another geth the hack wears off. Worthless power now.... human infiltrator is better now.

The delay doesn't prevent your hacked Geth from firing, it just makes it so that other Geth will ignore it for 8 seconds of a 10 second hack, or 15 if you spec into improved duration.

I do think that all of those combined was a bit much. Just that some of them were needed.

Gold is still easy enough if you have a mix of the 2 salarians and a human engineer that know what they are doing. However gold with randoms is now a complete pain.

if anything needs to be patched its the unlock system, at the very least remove repeat unlocks or lower the cost, the current system is so bad and frustrating, no wonder people were farming gold the easiest way possible. I just want the damn black widow.... :(

QI nerf was overkill imo, it was only good against geth, now it is ok against geth and inferior against anything else. if it had something else than sticky it might be a solid all round class, as it is it is just all round inferior though.

I really have to ask: why do you play this game? Just to buy specter packs? If gold is too hard, then play silver - and enjoy it!

What is laughable is that you think there was something wrong with the QI before. I new from the start that the QI was the easyest way to beat the geth gold. The reason why BioWare nerfed it so was because it they seen how fast it caught on and that the poor saps that were buying points to get the spector packs was starting to slow down. They used the QI's were OP excuse just because it was convenient for them.

I play for fun but it would be more fun if i had unlocked the good weapons I want. Pretty lame to unlock spectre packs over and over only to get crap again and again...

IMO the only things that where really needed was the CD and berserk nerf, along with the geth buff and adding the fact that it now only hits one target completely invalidates the third teir talent (which is just poor design) just adds insult to injury

The only thing that surprises me about the whole thing is that they didn't see this happening before hand. It's an ability that turns synthetics to your side and makes the unhacked ones turn against them, it was going to be OP against an army composed 100% of synthetics.

Gold is intended to be challenging. Keeping it this way is working as intended. I don't know why everyone thinks it's a requirement that they be able to clear gold with randoms 100% of the time.

you just admitted that the only reason you played the QI in the first place was because it was OP, and then you claim that it isn't and it was all an excuse so people will buy specter packs??

Gold Geth was easier than Silver Reapers when you had a QI. All levels of gold are supposed to be challenging, not just one of them.

If you want to play against a Geth army that isn't challenging, you can play silver. You just don't have the high risk/high reward for credits that gold brings.
