Geth Pyro- Damage of flamethrower increased from 50 to 65
(Silver & Gold) Evades less frequently from weapon damage-
(Silver & Gold) Evades less frequently from projectile powers

Geth Hunter (Gold) Movement speed modifier while cloaked increased from 80% to 110%
(Gold) Aim delay before firing decreased from 0.5 to 0.25 seconds

These stuck out to me the most, especially the Geth Hunter. Personally I thought they were already quick not to mention they fire their shotguns like mad. First shot stuns 2nd shot damn near kills. I like the Pyro nerf on dodging. Whenever I tried to biotic combo a pyro I almost always had to use throw 2 times after the warp. As far as the QI is concerned...OP and broken get thrown around so much these days they no longer have meanings. Farming will still be doable just no longer easy mode.

Difference between fixing something and breaking it completely.

It's not broken at all. You can still use it on Geth very effectively. You just need to do more then run around pressing 3 though.

In case you are wondering I have done successful gold Geth runs with a QI so I know how easy it was. I quit doing gold Geth runs with my QI because it was mouthbreathingly stupid.


Hardly, Asari Asept with Statis bubble will now be better at CC than an Infiltrator with Sabotage. The only benefit the Sabotage would bring is to hack Primes (Worthless) or Pyros. So that now makes Asari Adepts better against... Oh, Geth and cerberus, oh and reapers too.

So instead of taking a Quarian you may as well take a Salarian, because their CC is now useless. It can be somewhat regained if you can hack 2 targets again, but having 1 is stupid. 


What planet are you from? Asari Adepts are dodgy against both Geth and (especially) Reapers. In both cases the primary job for a Asari Adept is to be a Biotic Explosion bot. The QI can still revive and grab objectives, does not get flanked as easily and can set up uber Tech Bursts through Sabotage.


Exactly, and yet they're still more effective than a Quarian Infiltrator. Shame really isn't it?

Actually they are not but whatever you have already thrown your toys out of the pram. The nerf is in and it was needed, deal with it.

Am I reading this differently from everyone else? It looks like sabotage is making the hacked targets do less damage, but protects them for a bit from being hit now.

In any case, I'm happy to see SMGs getting buffed. They needed it.

Guys u dont understand how works EA...

As they made on Battlefield Play 4 Free, they first nerf all guns and classes, then make a DLC or new weapons and classes than are OP.. then again they nerf the new weapons for make another DLC with other weapons..

And dont underestimate EA because all know the changes are made by Bioware but the Fly behind the hear is EA telling them what do for take money fast as hell overall.

They dont have any problem in ruin a game or a Saga just for take 1$ more

I don't understand the point of the AoE increase on Sabotage anymore. It WAS useful because you could grab 2 geth that were farther apart. Now you can only hack one, so who cares how wide the effect is?

At least now I won't feel like a jackass sabotaging both geths approaching me.

Last night I sabotaged a group of four pyros. They all turned to each other and started blasting, two seconds later they exploded in a mushroom cloud of synthetic XP.

It doesn't protect them at all. They do half the damage now and wont attack for 8 seconds(They can still be damaged during this time) instead of 2 seconds.

it's kind of pointless now, but at least it wasn't a rank 4+ choice.

Another question, does the Rank 6 evolution of Sabotage "100% increase to tech damage taken" apply to backfire? If so, then the QI may be able to hang better against Cerberus. I'm okay with a nerf as long as the class gets more well rounded.

I already stated it was needed, I'm stating that the nerf is too much, learn to read.

Anyone with some sense can see the nerf is too much and was obviously not tested, likewise for the initial Sabotage, as it wouldn't have been in such a broken state in the first place with proper testing, so stop defending it.

I can own geth on gold with engineers or a salarian infiltrator, the problem now will be finding randoms that know how to do the same, QI with sabo made it easyish to get gold for spectre packs in random lobbies, the problem is not everyone playing geth on gold the problem is the way the stupid unlock system works, 50 spectre packs and still no n7 weapons, retarded.

If you're that keen on a greater challenge play reapers or stay away ffrom the QI, don't start complaining and ths ruining it for everyone else. The nerf everything mentality on this forum is ridiculous.

Actually it looks like I might have read it wrong admittedly. I was reading it as the hacked target will not attack for 8 seconds when it seems to be enemies will ignore it for 8 seconds.

That actually makes it worse as now it's not even a good distraction tool.

Yeah but then you have people like me who feel they have to chose between being the most efficient and having the most fun by diversifying my playthroughs. Balancing stuff is part of properly supporting multiplayer (including bug fixes lawl) and that means people get their favorite toys broken sometimes.

I do know a lot of MP games that were originally fun before the company nerfed all the fun/semi-broken stuff. I still remember charging all across Westfall with my warrior's charge before they put a CD on it and made it non-combat.

What's funny is that yesterday I was commenting on how ridiculous it was that unhacked enemies would immediately blow out their hacked buddy. People in MP games do that all the time when FF is enabled on each other, but only when they're winning!!!

This is bad though. That's eight seconds of time where your CC isn't doing its job. That's a very long time.

I am glad to see the QI farm has been dealt with. That said, I do think the nerf bat hit too hard. Hopefully at some point the QI will be compensated a bit.

The SMG changes are nice to see.

Yeah, which is how you'd expect an unhacked geth to operate right? Ignore their buddy for a few seconds and then turn on them?

I'm kind of in a place now, however, where I feel like I need to choose between the race I wanted to play(Quarian) and the race I feel the most useful as (Salarian). I get that things aren't always going to be perfectly equal, but I feel like i'm just weakening myself too much by not playing Salarian now, even against the Geth.
