"We want the outcomes to be satisfying to the player. That doesn't
necessarily mean they're all going to be happy or positive, but they
have to be satisfying. Players have to understand that the choices
they've been making in this game and in previous have had an impact, and
that they're an architect in what happens."

Since the declared goal of Bioware was to leave us "satisfied" and since there has been a very vocal outcry, I'd like to ask if You, the gamer, consumor, felt satisfied by the product? Please go to my poll and vote. Any comments would be welcome ofcourse.

Yeah, I don't think satisfied is a quit the term I would use.

That game is decent, the co-op is decent. The ending reminds me of the Sealab 2021 episode that ends with the Space Baby.

"Nope, I got nothing."

fantastic story, really thought provoking, emotional, loved the Liara roamnce, but (sigh) ending was not what I have come to expect, I had no real choice, just "how much do you want to screw over Shep and her crew A: A lot, B: A hell of a lot or C: Take a gun and shoot them all in the back no, better yet, lets let Joker just crash and burn the Normandy now with you all on, its quicker.

If I was satisfied, I wouldn't be here. I would be playing more ME3.

That said, it not possible to satisfy everyone. The question is if the majority are satisfied. With regards to the ending, clearly not. The rest of the game was pretty good though.

Yes, I was satisfied.

I believe the ending is poor - but I remain satisfied.

I was satisfied in terms of the fact that the game experience exceeded my expectations.
However, although I wasn't unhappy with the direction they chose to go in the ending, I felt they didn't do enough to resolve the story. That has me feeling more bemused than anything else - my imagination's capable of filling in gaps if it has to.

Yes, I did feel satisfied. Not blown away by the product as a whole, since I felt it could've been better with just a few more months development time, but I was satisfied with it as an ending to the series.

I was 100% satisfied until 5 minutes before the end.
Then I fell in a chasm of plotholes and unanwered questions ...

So ... you would've been satisfied if it finished 5 minutes before it did?

I wasn't satisfied with the Normandy epilogue and teleporting teammates. No, plot holes and drama-inducing end scenes are not my cup of tea.

To boil a whole game down to just the last 5 min to determine if you're satisfied or not is just ridiculous. The endings are not the best. Some think they're the worst endings in existance. That being said, everything before that is near perfection for fans of Mass Effect.

So much dialog, so much fan service. Not a perfect game but damn near.

If the game ended with Shep and Anderson's talk when they were both sitting down after the scene with TIM, it would've been much better.

I was satisfied with the Tuchanka and Rannoch levels. The other levels were decent and nothing to really complain about.

And then there was the ending.....

Over all, I was beyond satisfied with the game. I think it was the most emotional of the three, and I pretty much loved all the combat improvements. The writing was just as good as ever in the dialogue.

But the ending. It didn't ruin the entire game for me - up until the last part of the game, I kept saying how amazing I thought it was to two of my friends who also play - but it really took the shine off of it for me (and apparently countless other fans). I'm not satisfied with the ending. I didn't get the closure I was looking for.

Yeah, the game was a lot of fun. The gameplay was just epic! It becomes even better if you try import the same ME3 character, since you're already familiar with the mechanics and have a higher level.

The story was very well written from my point of view. I even got very mad at Cerberus at some point, which made me realize how much emotionally invested I was into the game.

The new elements like the NPCs moving around the ship were very interesting. It felt a lot more different than the rest games and more natural.

About the end everyone's so complaining about... I do not hate it. It's fine as it is. There can't always be a happy ending. The only thing which left me a little puzzled was why the Normandy used the mass relay? They were fighting and all, but I guess there are a lot of circumstances, which you just have to imagine for yourself.

Looking forward to ME4 or whatever BioWare creates in the same universe!
