ME3 makes me want ME4, ME5 and ME6 (provided they rewrite the ending).

Personally I was left unsatisfied. I expected that after DA2 Bioware would have learned a few lessons. However I percieve that they did more or less the same in ME3 as they did in DA2.

From the word "go" I am faced with plotholes and inconsistencies. I have trouble importing my toons and my personalized toons I have to "tweak" to get right. I am forced to save every 10 minutes because the game resets my toon on a regular basis. Sidequests that are nessesary for me to build war assets and readynss are bugged. And when I finally reach the end, those war assets and those efforts are basically worth nothing. I am pideonholed into making 3 choises that are forced upon me by some toon I dont meet untill the very end of the game. I have plotholes up the kazoo and I have a game that actively tries to insult my intelligence by disregarding all in-setting logic and lore. Furthermore the efforts made in the previous games and indeed in the very game I play are rendered useless and futile.

So no. I was not satisfied. And three out of four so far were not either. If you were a business and three out of four of your clients were dissatisfied, you would not have a business for long.

Sadly the answer is no... too many questions left and an unacceptable ending. :(

If Bioware were to recall this game i'd send it back in a heartbeat. Sadly the bad reviews are going to kill the resell value. I wouldn't mind the 3 endings that are there if there had been even one extra where everything you did in the all the games made a difference. I normally like dark endings that aren't always happy but this seems like it wasn't even a try at that.

Not in the slightest. The ending ruined it all.

For every laugh the game produced and for every gut-wrenching moment that reduced me to tears, I was satisfied - even with the ending, which I found meaningful for my Shepard (although the Normandy bit needed exposition). I get that a lot of people are dissatisfied solely because of the endings, and I'm certainly for an alternative ending/endings if possible so that it alleviates their frustrations.

There were a lot of good elements like NPCs moving around and the lengthy stories you can hear combined with the trigger points and the passage of time, such as the asari commando who had PTSD. Combat was much better this time around, and there was quite a bit to do. Overall, the writing was better as well, and I was very emotionally invested in the story. I also think it did expand on some deeper questions/issues about AIs and man that have been present in the trilogy.

Up until about the last 5 minutes I was ecstatic, ME3 was awesome.

Then I hit those last 5 minutes and it just turned everything else about the game to ash.

Great game, but the ending just ruins it all, which is sad.

What "Bad reviews"?

ME3 is one of the highest reviewed games of all time, lol.

You seem to think anything said on a games forum actually matters, lol.

Uh, hell chief, I was satisfied right up till the end. I feel there should be an option to reflect that. The game as a whole is damn good, the story(up till the end) is damn good, the characters are damn good, the music is damn good, the quests were not so good but who the hell cares?

It was great with a lot of emotional moments. I would have liked to see our choices throughout the trilogy have some effect on the endings, but it was still great.

Yeah. Really hated the fetch / scanning quests.

Yup, I'm satisfied. Looking forward to 4. :D

Yeah, and the rumors about  4; are that its supposed to be on XBOX 720. I'm also quite sure we won't be seeing Shepard- because the creators did hint, that this was his last story; so it will most likely be someone new. I heard the English guy in Big Ben, could be the new lead- again just a rumor, though it wouldn't be a surprise; he was not intended to be James Vega.

Game play, character interaction, LI, and story were satisfying. Ending was not satisfying.

-Whilst I undestand your sentiment and your wish for another poll option, I feel that would defeat the point. You are either satisfied, or you are not.

Since this is the general section I'll be general in my response with no spoilers.

I was more than happy with 95% of Mass Effect 3. The majority of the game was brilliant, I enjoyed the choices, the cut-scenes, and the overall tone of the game.

Unfortunately the last 5-10 minutes really were pretty terrible in comparison. In some ways if the rest of the game wasn't so good I wouldn't be as upset with the endings that were presented to me. It felt like the ending to a different game. It was presented almost exactly like Deus Ex.

The multiplayer is excellent as it was during the demo so I'm still enjoying that.

If the ending of this game had matched the flow, the writing, and the quality of the rest of the game I would have proudly stated it was one of the best games I've ever played.

Unfortunately it left a bad aftertaste in my mind. I'd probably rank it around 7/10.

Was I satisfied with ME3? Overall, yes. I do not like the endings, but I like the game overall, even though I wish Shepard's paragon/renegade choices mattered more in the endings. I still am a bigger fan of ME1, however, because it's the most RPG-ish game of the three, IMO.

The ending was not satisfying. Everything else was very damn satisfying. The biggest emotional rollercoaster I've taken a part of in gaming

You work towards an ending and when that ending is the worst of of the worst you have ever seen, the answer is no. **** no.

"We want the outcomes to be satisfying to the player. That doesn't necessarily mean they're all going to be happy or positive, but they have to be satisfying. Players have to understand that the choices they've been making in this game and in previous have had an impact, and that they're an architect in what happens."

This is probably the most... well I don't know, anyone who's finished the game will know what I mean.

What happens, right at the end, has nothing to do with what has been chosen before, what has been done in the previous hundred or more hours of Mass Effect.

I'm only half way done but I feel satisfied becuase it's been awesome. And yes I watched and read the endings becuase I was curious, and I careless. It's about playing the game as a whole.

If you guys want to try to figure out an ending that makes less sense than this watch 2001 or Neon Genesis Evangelion. Now, those are cluster**** endings. At least you get to pick and choose and play all the way to the end.

people need to appreciate the entire aspect of things more often.

Satisfaction is coming to the end of something and feeling like it was worth it.

ME3 does not leave you "satisfied" in the slightest. You may be pleased by the rest of the game, but when the ending kicks you in the ****s you can't walk away "satisfied".

If by 'satisfied' you mean left tired, confused and hollow, then yes. I was very, very satisfied.
