Played with an mate he bought the game I was hesistant due to ending rumors. Was epic, good and at times acceptable but the last 15 minutes of the game was severly lacking. Critizism on my part include too much auto dialogue, too little impact of choices. The ending is just plain bad lacking in quality, quantity of endings and its variations and also an severe lack of epilogue and plugging of plot.

The auto dialogue thing I honestly never really noticed.  I felt like I had as many choices as say ME1 or 2 to delve into subjects, but I think the fact that ME3 just had so much more dialogue then the others it proportionally made the amount of choices you had seem less then the previous games.

Honestly, other than the silly Normandy thing and the lack of an epilogue, I was pretty satisfied yeah.

I think it's the most polished, well-written and emotionally engaging Mass Effect game out of the three. Never expected anything more than it is - in fact, it went way above my expectations.

Not really getting the hater's side... not even about the endings...

Overall...yes. Highly satisfied. The last 5 minutes being crap will not make it a bad game or leave me not satisfied.

No, not really. The character interaction was lacking. The ending was just UGH... but the combat was fun for once, I'll give it that.

I was more refering to the lack of control on the ending and the outcome after it and the ending was  to surreal for my taste. And I really dont like characters being introduced at the end its an cheap trick in my book. It dosent come off as shocking more like oh he pulled an rabbit out of the hat its to cliche done to death. I really didnt like seing the Reapers explained in such an manner I rather prefered them being an mystical god machine race ala Lovecraft. I also feel that Harbinger got lost in this game he was the face of the enemy not the Deus ex. Anyway there is little that can be done now.

Yes. Sure, their were a handful of things wrong with it, but it didnt make it a bad game or a bad ending to the series (game as a whole, yes the ending was crap)

Highly satisfied. I found gameplay and MOST of the story to be the best yet and I really liked how squaddies move around and talk to each other. I thought the writting and characters were pretty well done for the most part.

HOWEVER, animations need a LOT of work in areas and less dialog options is a minus, although I didn't mind as much as some people here.

It felt like that one Sienfeld episode where Jerry taped a movie then the end was taped over with Elaine's awfull dancing. Multiplayer is fun though.

I just wanted questions answered...didn't have to be all of them but some answers would have been nice...don't have to have a happy ending...but your screwing the universe whether u save it or not with that ending......totally not satisfied.

I was dissapointed by how linear this game was compared to ME2. Very few choices could be made that affected the direction of the story, instead of cut scenes when I spoke to my crew I just got talking heads, the ending.

It just felt like I was playing someone else's game, not my own. Which is sad because the ME series has always been sold to us as a game where we make the choices.

The ending was diabolical. I don't invest years of my life to a game franchise, investing in the worlds and characters, just so BioWare can give us a philosophical statement and not an ending.

I don't buy the whole 'it's brave, not the typical ending you woudl expect from your average story.'

Yeah, it is an unusal way to end a story, one that not many do. Is it because it's brave? No, it's because it's an unsatisfying way to end a series and a slap in the face for the fans. We don't want a statement, we wan't closure.

Not really. It spends way too much time in the gutter to really leave me satisfied.

Honestly I loved it. Also ending wasn't so disappointing, chose blue not gonna say what it was, and I thought it was okay. I thought about it in a logical way and decided by what my shep, and I, would do. Guess I'm just easy to please. The rest of the game though was just so fracking awesome so bravo for that Bioware. The one thing I don't like though is how the normandy is all of a sudden at the relay with no explanation.

Love the trilogy. Hate the ending. It makes no sense and its completely not Mass Effect-ish.
So no, not satisfied. Not until they give an ending that makes sense.

I honestly think if you consider Mass Effect 3 a roleplaying Game it is utter trash - because it simply is not one.
For me, it is an interactive movie where you can choose between 2 alternative scenes at several points.
And tbh it is a damned good one at that, some speeches almost made me cry in passion, and I still consider Liara the best fictional character ever.

But as a roleplaying game, it sucks.

I guess not liking such unexplained things is one of the main reasons many dislike the ending. You probably are correct in your self-estimation as easy to please, at least in regards to plotholes.

What about the ending is not "Mass Effect-ish"?

What does that even mean?

Gameplay i enjoyed ending was terrible. I get the theorys and they are probably true but i swear to god if they tell me to pay more for a real ending cause they didn't finish it i give up on bioware as a company. I can't give up on EA i already did that awhile ago

Not satisfied. There was alot more wrong than just the ending. To many bugs, no real sidequest to name a couple.

Perhaps I am just a sucker for a good story but it was that. I got the chance to say goodbye to all the characters that had come to mean a lot to me. There was a growing sense of doom and finality that was growing towards the end. Each of the characters is in fact saying goodbye to you as they don't expect you to make it. Still there was a sense of completion, I got to hear Tali tell my Shep that she loved him and that they had a future together. It didn't happen but with a character that had given everything he was to stop a dread ending... well I couldn't really expect anything but a finish. The only downside for me is that once the game was done it was really done for me. I don't have a huge interest in replaying it again. I did that with both ME 1 and ME 2.

I am not ashamed to say that I am not satisfied because I wanted a win-win ending. I wanted to beat the reapers and walk into the starset with my LI. (Oh, and I wanted a renegade option to kick that someone in the whatevers as I said, "That's for __________.")

Like a certain starship captain who is a bit of a renegade himself, I don't believe in the no-win scenario.

[Edited to remove a possible spoiler].

I was totally satisfied.. best game ever. Except for the lack of Jack which did ruin my characters RP/Romance idea.

Then I got lifted up by that elevator.

I went from 95% satisfied to 2% satisfied with the ending.
