I was dissapointed by how linear this game was compared to ME2. Very few choices could be made that affected the direction of the story, instead of cut scenes when I spoke to my crew I just got talking heads, the ending.
It just felt like I was playing someone else's game, not my own. Which is sad because the ME series has always been sold to us as a game where we make the choices.
I honestly think if you consider Mass Effect 3 a roleplaying Game it is utter trash - because it simply is not one.
For me, it is an interactive movie where you can choose between 2 alternative scenes at several points.
And tbh it is a damned good one at that, some speeches almost made me cry in passion, and I still consider Liara the best fictional character ever.
But as a roleplaying game, it sucks.

Honestly I loved it. Also ending
wasn't so disappointing, chose blue not gonna say what it was, and I
thought it was okay. I thought about it in a logical way and decided by
what my shep, and I, would do. Guess I'm just easy to please. The rest
of the game though was just so fracking awesome so bravo for that
Bioware. The one thing I don't like though is how the normandy is all of
a sudden at the relay with no explanation.
I guess not liking such unexplained things is one of the main reasons many dislike the ending. You probably are correct in your self-estimation as easy to please, at least in regards to plotholes.
