Faced with the three choices, my Shepard chose 'Control.'  It seemed right for her to sacrifice herself to, in essence, save EDI and the Geth and honor Legion's sacrifice.

The Catalyst explains that all Shepard is will be gone, but she'll be able to control the Reapers.  For the sake of this discussion, let's assume everything the child says is the truth.  How far does Shepard's control over the Reapers go?  Is it a simple matter of her ordering them to leave while she dies, or is she now a consciousness with real control over the entire race?

I ask because, if Shepard does have a continuous influence from this point on, couldn't she will the Reapers to rebuild the mass relays?
