    To all at Bioware,

    Thank you for creating such a fantastic game given the current state of the industry. Thank you for endeavouring to produce the highest quality in all things; arête isn’t something common these days. Thank you for trying to cater to everyone, from the most casual to the most hardcore of gamers; releasing the developer toolkit is something most companies shy away from. Thank you for stepping into your own IP and making it something truly noteworthy. Thank you for spending time creating a believable world steeped in its own unique lore. Thank you for spending time with the community; from developers, to writers, to moderators – the fact that you take time to even respond to some people here on these forums speaks volumes for your resolve. You show fortitude and respect where others do not do the same.

    Thank you everyone at Bioware. You are Paragons of the games industry. Everything you’ve done in the past can only lead as example as to what you will produce in the future. May the stone hold you up, always.

Just before getting Dragon Age I did some retro gaming, playing Icewind Dale II. The comparison with Dragon Age is neat - great story and quest, but the jump in graphical quality and immersiveness is awesome.

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but BioWare did not develop the Icewind Dale series.
