Well, maybe that's what's so alluring about him. But I didn't see him that way, personally. Compared to the other Jarls he was one of the younger/hotter ones. He was probably a total ass (racist much?), but he had a hot voice that was also unique to his character. (I guess I'm very impressionable.)

Back on topic, if there was James Vega DLC I think it should be set up the way the companion missions were for ME2. There should be some specific thing you need to help James do. WIthin the context of ME3 I'm not sure what that would be. Maybe it would have something to do with his mission on Fehl. Then afterwards maybe he comes to thank Shepard and then one thing leads to another... and there absolutely must be lots of skin time with him. Lots and lots. 

I have always had a thing for older men  Ever since I was a little girl I was drawn to charismatic, big men (don't get any ideas though )... Never cared about those teenager boy bands or baby-faced actors (Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, etc.)... But as I always say, when I was born, I was already 30 years old. It has been seen in probably every aspect in my life, in good and also in bad things... School was hell.

That's why my interest in Vega is a bit surprising. He IS younger than most my crushes, but he also is charismatic, mentally strong, obviously experienced in life and totally seems like a real manly MAN who could protect me from everything. Very appealing indeed...

inb4 daddy issues, don't bother 

I was thinking about  a mission with James yesterday. He talked about how he would like to meet his uncle again, and I gotta admit, my first thought about it was "Please PLEASE let it be a loyalty mission that could lead to a romance"... But no, Bioware (or EA) loves disappointed fangirls just as universe loves diversity. I would love to see that kind of mission

I don't think you'd be able to concentrate on the game very much, you'd be too busy ogling and daydreaming about the cards. LOL

 Would make sense in my opinion to make him a love interest. You would have three new ones, two for each sex. Traynor is a lesbian, Cortez is gay, and Vega would should be bi (I don't really count Diana as an appropriate romance option). He's one of my most liked new characters other than Cortez. In fact, many might disagree, but I think it would be awesome if you didn't romance Cortez or Vega and you helped Cortez with his issues that towards the end you would see a subtle hint of the two being intimate, like how they did for Tali and Garrus. I liked seeing Tali and Garrus in the gun room on your way to earth; a shame they didn't do that for other characters.

No, I liked the fact that he wasn't romancable. It makes sense that he wasn't a potential love interest because I don't think he should be. I thought he was dull and you shouldn't be able to romance him because I don't like him. BioWare should stick to their artistic vision on this one.

Nah, I'm just playing with you. If you want him, I'll support them adding him as a LI. Even though I'm ok with him not being one, I can appreciate that there are a number of fans that do, and recognize that giving you guys what you are asking for in no way will effect my enjoyment.

Seriously Bioware, how do you think we feel when a guy like James teases us in every possible situation, getting our hopes up... Aaaaand we have to end up with Kaidan if we want to stay straight and do not wish to face the ending alone. (Unless someone foresaw this and romanced Garrus in ME2.)

Man I hope Bioware sees the potential in this.

I suppose if it goes on long enough, Vega could get beyond his shyness. I worry, though, that he might actually swing a different way (again, coming from a viewpoint of stereotypes) ... not that there's anything wrong with that, but it would be harsh on the femSheps out there.

I like this idea (definitely need some skin time! ).  I was also thinking it would be interesting if somehow it's discussed or let slip that he was defending Shep in the comic book Conviction in the bar and then maybe explain why Anderson chose him above all others to guard her.

I'm pretty sure he only swings one way. If he's gay, he's a really dumb gay guy to not get the "Grizzly Bear" joke.
