I started a replay just to romance him, and then I went online to check it out...

I can understand wanting to limit romances cause of all the past ones but i feel bad for the female shepards if kaiden died, garrus, jacob, thane only if you romanced in the 2nd.

Cause of that female shepard can only romance female characters its silly, if kaiden died he should have become a LI, to me it seemed like it was heading that way with the dialogue but then stopped half way.

Gay manShep is pretty screwed too. If all previous characters died, then femShep has no one to romance, and if Kaidan died then manShep only has Cortez. That's zero options for one and a single option for the other. It's kind of stupid. I always figured James would be the L.I. for BOTH and NOT Kaidan, for obvious reasons. Guess Bioware is okay for punishing its gamers for not having psychic vision...

Yeah, and why wouldn't you? James is a hunky beef cake - Of course the women want him! HUGE wasted oppitunity on Bioware's part.

Who else are you gonna romance? Kaiden? Garrus? Garrus is awesome and whatnot, but he's also a weird looking alien thing and Kaiden's a wuss! Women don't want that - They want hunky beef cake!
Am i reading into this too much...?

Heh, personally I mostly want the romance bit.  As for being beef cake, well, to me it is more the person behind it, and he made me curious to learn more about him.  Then again, tossing him on the floor was fun, I suppose...

Garrus, well, a good pal, but not beyond that for me.  Don't ask me why, couldn't tell.

Kaidan is my canon guy, though, but I also have other Shepards that haven't got Kaidan, and with Jacob, well...  That's a dead end.

not because i would romance myself, but think its unfair that male shep gets more decent (by that i mean, in depth) humanoid romances than femshep. and with the introduction of same sex romance fem shep gets less. Why wasn't ash converted as well as kaidan?

As one of nature's least capable drivers, my Shepard frequently got out of the Mako to fight Threshers and geth on foot. It wasn't for the challenge. It was because it was actually easier for me. The Hammerhead did not have that option, so there was a lot of explodey death...
