An amazing article about the ending of Mass Effect 3 and how it has affected fans for the better or worse:
penny-arcade.com/report/editori…

Come on mike, don't do this to us, I think it's pretty obvious that they're going to say "this is the end deal with it."

Yeah EA will not get any more money from me.

Bioware needs us more then we need them. I think I will stick with the Zelda series for my RPG fix from now on. They are just as much fun and they don't put depressing endings that make no sense at the end.

That Ben Kuchera guy is an idiot and a real **** (just look at his twitter) he basically fails to understand any of the complaints that fans bring up and just goes "I liked it, so STFU fanboys!"

This is most notable when he tries to bring up the argument that our decisions did matter, a complete tool. What concerns me is a BioWare employee retweeting it thus showing that they think the ending is fine.

They're not that stupid. The second they say, "that's our end, deal with it" is the second I put ME out of my life forever.

lol, it's their funeral if they don't fix this. Not instantly, but over time.

I think Bioware is still in the denial phase of how bad the ending is.

If we've got to live with your mistake, you have to live with the fact the fanbase despises your choice as much as it is yours to make. It's our right as customers.

Retweeting stuff like this is an indicator things aren't optimistic for a good ending.

This mentality of denial is Illusive Man like: "NO, NO YOU FAILED, YOU FAILED TO APPRECIATE MY VISION!" But in the end, after they hurt even more of their goodwill, they're going to be left with an empty sack of fans who feel brutally betrayed who will be far less willing to part with their cash.

"They're not that stupid. The second they say, "that's our end, deal with it" is the second I put ME out of my life forever."

At the second of this instance, I will end my "product-consumer" relationship with Bioware indefinitely. And from that moment on, I will treat the series canon ending as being an unresolved cliffhanger of an indoctrination that ends with hope, not the terrible ending with the destruction of the universe. Better no conclusion than one that kills the essence of ME3.

"An amazing article about the ending of Mass Effect 3 and how it has affected fans for the better or worse:" --- Is that Mr Gamble's quote? (Not hip on workings of twitter) If so, then it's pretty clear that, that ending is what it is, and we're stuck with it.

If this ending was always what they had planed I have to ask why we needed three games to get to it. Couldn't we have gotten this ending in the first game, just have Shepard give in then and save us all a lot of time and money. I still think this was something they rushed into, all they really did was copy and paste the end of BSG onto a story that had had a lot of it's content up to that point copy and pasted from B5 and it is not a good fit. Up until the ending the games were about freedom of choice and people coming together to over come the odds, now the only message I took away from the ending is that life is pointless, painful, and there is no hope so just put a bullet in your head because anything else is pointless.

If they want to say, "this is why we thought it was good," that can be part of their explanation. To feed us positive feedback as if we don't know what we're talking about and ignoring our criticism with these kind of "explanations" is no selling our frustration in away. There hasn't been any kind of apology or even small recognition of "oh wow we made you all mad."

Yeah, if that's the way it is, Bioware bury our hopes and franchise now so we can move on from your game and your company. The ending of the game is enough, I don't need to be jerked around even more. If you're standing by your ending, at least have the courage to stand up for it and respect your fans.

I have to ask Bioware. Do they think 24 would have lasted 8 seasons if season two had ended with Jack stopping the nuke by pulling out a nuke five times the size of the terrorist nuke and nuking LA just so the terrorist couldn't nuke LA?

If they don't fix the ending I will swear a blood oath to spite their company's profits in every way possible for the rest of my life.

If they want to claim their ending was okay, but still offer some more options? Opinions are opinions and they're just as entitled to one as we are. I only care about their actions.

So freak'n sad but true, I'm in the exact same wheel house.
How did they manage to snuff the whole series in 10 minutes...

If there was ever an award for Biggest PR Disaster Faux Pas then Mike Gamble would get it!

Right now he shouldn't be posting things like that on his Twitter account for all of the Bioware fans to see. That's just asking for trouble.
He really should steer away from making any comments, back-handed or otherwise until all of this gets resolved.
