I think you guys need to calm down and stop over-analyzing everything.

Him retweeting the article doesn't mean anything. Especially in light of their obviously cryptic responses concerning the end of the game.

It means they think we're a bunch of ingrates and want to put us in our place by linking articles that tell them everything they want to hear.
We are the true Commander Shepards. We will never give in.

It's important for everyone to remember the game just came out and isn't out every where yet. For him to do anything other than positively promote the game at this point could be detrimental to his career.

This is clearly not a situation that can be resolved in a few days. We have to have patient.

See, people shouldn't have to apologize for their opinions,

But I strongly disagree with Gamble. Those endings were horrible, and very un-Bioware like. The new direction Bioware is taking games pretty crappy.

I'd like this to mean something, but it doesn't. Our society has devolved into clicking LIKE buttons for communication.
Like or dislike means nothing by itself without context.... most polls don't let you have an actual conversation. You are just clicking buttons that best fit your opinion. They may be no where near your actual opinion, simply the only button you can pick that is remotely close.

I hold nothing as sacred until someone actually says something beyond a quip. One line responses, and so forth are just PR and going with the twitter/facebook mentality where someone has 100 friends.....Really, you have a 100 friends? good for you. Ughhhhhhh.

I'll make it short :

"The backlash against a game’s ending may be the biggest compliment anyone has ever paid a developer. "

So, does it mean that if everybody loved the ending and no backslash would come out of it, it would means instead of a "biggest compliment paid to the dev" an insult to Bioware?

This seems like a childish justification to cover the mess with a short sighted comment seriously lacking of argument.

C&C 4 does not exist. It was complete garbage and another reason not to buy CCG2. Although I only completed CCG with the GLA. Even though I nver sent in a suicide bomber.

Yeah I hate to compare the two (because until the very end ME3 was vastly superior), but DA2 and ME3 share the same problematic conclusions that seem very out of character for previous games the studio has put out.  KoTOR, DA:O, ME1, ME2 all had conclusions that could play out very differently depending on the characters choices.  But in Biowares latest two major releases (DA2, ME3) the endings are dictated TO the player rather than BY the player.

I hope EA takes our side, they're probably not as "artistically" involved as Bioware is.

EA may be more likely to see us a potential lost customers it's cheaper to throw a bone to than alienate.

EA is a business, the only "side" they are on is their investors.

Either he was told by the PR department to erase it or he saw the oncoming crap storm that was brewing and figured might be better to retreat.

Those ending still sound like they suck ... like there's no epilogue, but there's so FutureChild either, so that would've been cool.
