Mike Gamble is okay with Ending as is.

I am guessing that they want to say something but I think being employed is more important.

I hate the endings(maybe ending they are all the same) but lay off the individuals. They will probably have something in their contract saying "you cannot say anything to damage the rep of the company in public" and I know because I have that(I cannot even say what company I work for on social media). I would do the exact same in their position and plead the 5th. They have to wait for the official standpoint before they can even think about commenting.

Maybe that was what the writers were trying to do - some kind of clicheception? It's incredibly lame, but I can imagine a group of people convincing themselves that it was a good idea...
That's what I find so strange. How could the writers of the rest of the game sign off on that ending, when at least 90% of the players despise it? I don't think they did. It seems to me that one or two people in upper management must have thought it would get a pass, and they needed it pushed out by a hard deadline so off it went. I would bet the writers are just as dissapointed as we are, or more so. They just can't say anything because of NDA's. It would kill me to have to finish off all that hard work with such a weak ending. I would be devistated right now, and I bet they are.
Hmmm, I think you're right. They're probably wishing they'd fought harder to get a proper ending. The one we got makes their efforts in telling Shepard's story as pointless as our playing it, so it probably hurt more for them. At least now they'll get a sense of vindication at the player reaction.

For the first time ever since I spoiled myself with the endings my irritation faded.
Now I am seriousy crying. My last shards of hope dissapeared.

*Hugs the elcor and gives it a cookie*

This, supposedly(take with grains, many, of salt) explains a bit... it also fits with what we have and why it all seems disjointed.

Wait, you mean the people at BioWare stand by the ending they put all of their thought and resources into? I'm stunned.
Funny thing is, no thought or resources went into it.. It was a cliche ending to say the least.

Interesting link. I would like to think some dumb exec overruled the writers and made them write this ending. I can't imagine anyone that cares about the story would write the current ending.

Damn shame, because the idea of the Reapers doing this cycle out of fear of being overthrown would have been perfect. It would also have given us the chance to bring Harbinger back into the picture.

Ive said for a few days now you guys are really just setting yourselves up for disappointment hoping for a real world fix. Just headcon your own ending because the probability of bioware doing anything is immensely slim to non-existant.
Immensely slim? So we have a chance???
Seriously, I'm kool and the gang. Whatever happens... happens. Still, I'm gonna hang around a little longer and voice my opinion about the crap ending.

Well I know I won't be buy anything from bioware if they don't do something. The lied to their customers and so they must be held accountable.mebtru wrote...
Its funny how only the ones who are making money are defending the ending, and the majority of the consumers didn't like it, yeah the consumer is always wrong, how they dare to ask for what they bough. Shame on the consumers.

How could it not be any more obvious what the ending is about? Sit tight for the DLC. Jesus, hold yer beards.@masseffect Do you like the movie The 6th Sense or Shutter Island? I like those films. *wink wink*
