Hallmark card fluff saying how space travel ignites the imagination and makes people think up things like Mass Effect.
Yup.
But in context of the game? Horribly depressing. You can tell by his response that he has no idea whats out in space, meaing nobody knows. (if your that old something like this would be fairly common knowledge) So however far in the future it is, they still haven't gotten back to deep space.

I thought it was the only redeemable part of the ending. It's interesting to think that in the even farther future Shepard becomes one of those "the" nouns, the Citadel, the Crucible, the Reapers, the Shepard.
yeah it was the only bit of the ending i liked

It's comments like these that help me forget the crappy ending and make me smile.

Plus its freaking Buzz Aldrin!
Too bad Alan Shepard wasn't alive to do it.

Insulting the audience who've so actively engaged in the storyline.
This. If one thing made me more angry than a deus ex machina to force the ending it's that our entire ME experience as Shepard was devalued as being "just a story".

Buzz Aldrin deserved a better role. Then again, I almost want to think of him as a framing device, and just say that he's senile and got the story wrong. Don't like something the writers put in there? Grandpa's a crazy liar.
In real life, Buzz Aldrin punched some guy in the face for calling the moon landings a conspiracy. There should have been more face-punching, and less vague ramblings.

if you want your voice heard louder got to my blog which I have a link too in my Sig , click on my ME3 review and click on the links to my polls.
1. would you Boycott Bioware if they don't fix the endings
2. do you believe Multiplayer should have no impact on the single player campaign
3. Facebook Campaign demand better endings for ME3
