This is something that has really plaqued me since ME2, should I level up my squadmates special abilities (Like Garrus's Turian Rebel) or focus entirely on skills I can use, becuase teammates dont do much damage anyway, and they die pretty quick.
Right now I max out thier Special right out the gate, prioritixzing abilities that increase power damage, and give squad bonuses, and then get an ammo power if they have it, and then 2 skills. Any advice on how to better my squad?

Trial and error really.. Just use the medbay. You get a free reset on each character and after that it costs credits.

Yeah, I'm on my second run and I'm doing Narrative to test out all the weapons/armor junk. I'll probably crank it up after awhile and try out some new combos.
