Hey guys. I"m a very big fan of Mass Effect, and as such my expectations for the game were really really high. Bioware kept claiming that ME3 would be the best out of the series, that it would exceed everyone's expectations, but I knew they they were just lying. How can you make a game better than it predecessors by dumbing it down in order to appeal to a larger audience. Why sacrifice quality so much just to make an extra buck. Quality assurance went down the drain, less dialogue between the people you care about, especially love interest. My God how dare you! Ughh and I tweeted the devs so much reminding them to optimize the game and make it deeper. All the feedback we gave them, it was all for nothing!<_< God I am soo angry at BIoware!

Anyway guys here are the gameplay issues I am experiencing. I hope you guys can provide your feedback on them as well, I hope I"m not the only one.

There is a huge problem with the textures loading in the armor locker in the shuttlle bay. Switching from the regular N7 armor to perhaps the defender armor can take a really long time. My God what the hell!! This wasn't even present in ME2!! It really bugs me. Also if you acess the squad menu when not in combat, you can see Shep's clothes literally load in front of your eyes. Wow what a lack of optimization. Thank you for rushing the game BIoware. Gotta love your subpar QA  department. Are you guys blind?

Seconfd the Squad AI is terrible. I'm having trouble ordering Ashlkey touse concussive shot in realt time.MOst of the tiome she just won't listen to me. I reallyy hope I'm not the only one experiencing this. For some reasonj lara and EDI listen to more. Also squad members can get stuck and  wont follow you only to magically appear behind you when veey well knew they were way behind while you moved forward. Mass Efefct 2 didn't have this kind of issue, at least it wasn't this bad. It really frustrates me that I can't enjoy combat because of the stupid squad AI.

Third I'm unable to finish the citadel mission regarding the the photos I need to take for that Salarian. I won't let me finish it. The options to take photos are gone! Wow.

FInally the animations. Shepard's head when he talks to Liara in the beginning moves all the way to the left. It's ridiculous!! This isn't the only time this happens. I don't remember where else it ocurrs but is happens again. Also when you talk to your squadmates on the Normandy without the dialoiugue tree, ie Zaeed/Kasumi from ME2, their mouths often don't match their speech. HOw lazy. They look like puppets with their mouths just opening and closing.

Anyway thanks for hearing me out. I hope Bioware listens to this and takes my thoughts seriously. They really screwed up this time around. They let the the thought of making tons of money get to their heads and sacrificed what matters most to any game company, satisfying their most loyal fans. All Mass Effect fans out there, especially the die hard fans like myself, please feel free to comment here about the glitches you've encountered in the game. Let me know if the issues I"ve described are also in your copy of the game. I really hope my discs aren't defective. I have the Collector's Editons for Xbox. And Bioware...once again shame on you. I know EA was pushing you around, but you could have asked for more time or switched publishers if need be. You guys climed you wre fanss of your own creation, but it doiesn't show hereImage IPB

I had the same issues with the armour loading when using the Armoury loadout computer in the hanger. Wouldn't load properly.

I also had the "Exorcist" head during conversation with Liara (both on Mars and when talking on the Normandy) and with Dr Chakwas in the Normandy Medbay.

I too hope Bioware fix these issues as well as bugs/glitches in the MP

Couple of issues I'm having the same are the slow load of armour preview, and the delayed/complete lack of squad powers when activated.

One thing I've discovered for Citadel sidequests is that if you start/accept another while already in the middle of one, the first will become bugged and unable to be completed.

Well done Bioware. Nice job. Bugs everywhere. This is what happens when you rush things. You release garbage.

I won't deny that bugs may exist in the game but I'm 32 hours and 30 min into the game and had yet to have a crash, something where story continuity broke, something didn't work right, or my character got hung up and couldn't move. I know people have reported issues but I've had none including my completion of From Ashes. At this point I'm about to throw myself into the final sequence of the game but don't have time to do it until the weekend. Nonetheless, I don't deny that there are bugs and bugs will always exist in any game or software program but I disagree that there is anything specifically disappointing or shameful about the ME3 release.

Am I happy about the story as a whole? Not necessarily. That's beside the point. Issue-wise I find the release of ME3 to appear to be far less problematic than previous releases in the ME trilogy.

I have to apologize here. I've been replying to posts in the general and PC section tonight and somehow I ended up replying to this thread in the box section. No idea how I even read this thread since I don't even read the Xbox part of the forums. Yep, I have egg on my face.

My apologies for that but my purpose in my reply was that people are reporting issues with the PC release and I've not had any. The only PC-related problem I had was getting my pre-order bonus codes from GameStop, I'll never give them my money again. Anyway, I'll withdraw from this discussion. Sorry.

Same issues here. Also another problem with the head is when you stand behind Traynor and speak to her, her head turns around completely to face you while her body faces towards the terminal. That's horrendous and shouldn't be happening. Seriously the whole auto-dialogue system was bad taste and bad form.

yeah most of us have done that D330. I did and it takes forever for the armors to load. It's back to the ME1 texture popping thing only this time it's much much worse than in ME1.

These issue's are minor at best, and do not require immediate fixing, not to mention your complaint about the animations is moot, aside from the "head turning".

These will most definetly not be receiving a "fix".
The most likely bugs to be fixed would be the gamebreaking ones:
-black screen
-cant enter mp
-crash/freeze on certain missions
-face import (might be unfixable)

I mean they didn't even fix the vanguard charge bug from ME2, THAT is being lazy, you'd think they had enough time to fix that....
