I'm not even trying to brag. I just don't see how it is possible.

How the hell can you guys spend that many hours on a a single play through? My first playthrough took 42 hours and I did every sidequest that I could find (which was close to if not all of them, I was very thorough).

Just depends on how you play probably. I didn't skip any dialogue, preferred to keep walk toggled as opposed to running whenever possible, etc.

I'm currently about 70 hours in and have less than 70% explored. Embarrassingly, I've only skimmed the Codex entries, so that's not added significantly to my total time, but I have explored as much dialog as I can and tried to get every side quest I can find. Play style is definitely a factor.
Ah yes, I had forgotten about the Codex as well. I've probably read through at most 20% of how much is in there and it's taken up a significant amount of time.

It's interesting how this game may not seem to have many areas, yet it still manages to pack a lot of content into the areas it does have.

I'm on my 4th playthrough and this time i just decided i wanted to enjoy the story so i pretty much consoled a lv25 mage with all 4 specializations and all spells and that makes the game a piece of cake..
My first playthrough was tough, because playing normally your mages and warriors have to work in conjunction and you'd have to personally direct them otherwise you'd just get manhandled hence i spent a lot of time, enjoying both dialogue and combat

It took me over 100 hours to complete my first, I had absolutely nothing else to do or explore at that point but to go to the ending and it still said 50% completed. I think it is related to all possible origins and paths one can choose during many playthoughs.
And I'm making sure my 2nd run is as long and explorative as my previous one
