This is definitely off-topic, but I thought that many Baldur's Gate fans would like to know & discuss about this project and many old-school rpg fans might not find this information elsewhere.

The game is called Wasteland 2 and it's currently on Kickstarter. The development team includes Brian Fargo, Michael Stackpole and Jason Anderson. Music for the game is been done by none other than Mark Morgan, the composer who made the music for Fallout 1 & 2 as well as Planescape: Torment. The game will be an old-school, turn-based, top-down isometric rpg. The setting is similar to Fallout series, which comes as no surprise since the original Wasteland was the game that originally inspired the Fallout franchise.

yeah, they were hoiping to raise funds in 1 month time, but it took less than 48 hrs :-)
