Is this stuff possible to find and get even if you didn't get the CE? I couldn't get it, and the Wiki makes no mention of REQUIRING the CE.

ME2 released a DLC package waaaaaay after release to unlock much of the weapons and armour that were otherwise unavailable prior to that. They may do the same for ME3, but I imagine it won't be for awhile.

Had to get the Collectors Edition... Trust me, I'm not happy about this either, since they sold out like 2 months before the freaking game was to release...

Actually for the PC version of ME2 the collector armor and assault rifle remained exclusive to the Collectors edition.
Kinda sucks that ME2CE owners don't get the assault rifle in ME3.

Interesting side note. Some of the N7 weapons are better that the in game weapons. The N7 pistol is less slow that the Carnifex hand cannon I was using. Feels almost like a machine gun. I'm using it to bring down shield, whereas before I was only using it to punch through heavily armored opponents.

Lol no.. why would it be and I'm glad it's not. Most companies these days have "special" DLC weapons that are only "special" for the first week then they are available to everyone.. annoys the hell out of me or they are just in the game and you get them "instantly". Also the part I'm shocked at is this may be the very first time where the DLC weapons are actually the best weapons in the game...
