Yo

So, whenever I get new private messages in the game, I can open them and read 'em when they're new, they've stopped saving however, and can only read messages from a few missions ago, kind of annoying as I just don't know what to do for certain quests and no doubt I've already missed some characters because the messages didn't save...

Also, am I going mad, is the game this inconsistent, or is it a bug, but I've finished the missions for...

...Jack and Grunt (saving the biotic kids and saving the rachni queen), but they're not on board the ship? Am I being retarded or are they actually meant to be there, because I've heard crew members talk about them as if they're on board.....

They do not appear on the ship in any form as far as I know. You will get to see Jack later on the Citadel though. The message thing must be a bug. I've noticed mine don't stay in order, but not disappear completely.

I have the missing private messages bug, too. I receive new messages and I can read them once. But if I go on a missions, or exit the game, they disappear from my private console...

I've noticed a number of private messages have disappeared after I read them as well

Are these actually disappearing after you read them or just appearing down further in the list? I know that I thought mine had vanished also, but they were sorted in some funky way and were just elsewhere in the list.

ME2 kept the messages in the order that you read them, instead of whatever system ME3 does.
