Why is nobody complaining about it? I finished the game with 90% readiness in 25 hours, I clocked in 45 hours in me1 and 42 in me2

I may have skipped one or two missions but that is not 20 hours of content, maybe by doing a completionist playthrough I could have squeezed in 3-4 hours more.

Because I don't think anyone has noticed it. I've done everything I've seen, explored all I can, tried to unlock all squad conversations possible. I just finished Thessia and I just hit 35 hours. Everyone I know who has played the game is in the same boat.

Either you are seriously rushing, or you're grandstanding to try to make some sort of point.

I don't know how you got through so quick. My 100% play through took about 50 hours. ME2 (with all of the dlc) took me about 65 hours. I would say that the main game is about the same length.

How do you finish everything in 25hrs?

Did you read every codex journal, read all the emails, planet scan, TALK TO THE CREW AFTER EVERY MISSION (you really miss out if you don't. They do interesting stuff from time to time), do every side quest. I mean 25 hours is just not concevable in my mind.

Yes I did just about everything (I missed 3 missions on the citadel that just wanted me to scan planets)

Yeah first time around was to short. I also read everthing and talked to everyone.

Same here. I finished my full first play through in 25 hours 52 mins with 88% readiness. I did nearly all the side quests. My mass effect 2 took ages to do and I really f***** up on , my first run. I'm tired of EA and their prawn sandwich brigade CEO'S they need a stint of national service or some crap.

42 in ME2? Lol the longest I've ever done is 24 hours with everything completed.

I think I clocked something like 60 hours in ME 1 for my headcanon FemShep. Just driving around and stuff.

Then ME 2 brought in the fun police and took away my tank drivers licence. I think I spent close to 40 hours there.

ME 3 I think I just finished in 35 hours. But damn if those 34 hours weren't some of the best hours spent this year. That final hour, I'm drinking this beer right now to forget.

I finished ME1 in 25 hours the first time, and maybe 1 or 2 hours faster in later playthroughs.
ME2 with all DLC takes me about 35 hours.
ME3 took me 40 hours the first time, So I guess it will take me 36-37 hours this time, maybe a little more.

I think this is why people aren't complaining as much, because you were slower than most in ME1 and 2.

First time round
I finished ME1 in about 10 hours.
I finished ME2 in about 25 hours
I finished ME3 in about 27 hours
ME2 length is pretty close to ME3. Remember not to compare DLC because there was much more of it in ME2.

I played this game in the exact same style I did ME1 and ME2. Not rushed, not completionist. I'd say I did 90% of the stuff, like in ME1 and ME2.

It is not... it took me 42 hours, literally 10 hours more than ME2 took me.

According to the accomplishments, there are 27 missions in game where you actually fight, be it side or main quests. in ME2, their were that many in main quests and loyalty missions. If you add the N7 missions in ME2, there were closer to 60 or 65 missions where you actually fought.

Ummm took as long for me to play ME3 as it takes to play through ME2 WITH ALL DLC.
So no... ME3 is definitely nowhere close to half as long...

It took me around 30 hours to compete Mass Effect 1

30 Hours for Mass Effect 2

24 Hours for Mass Effect 3

It doesn't include the multiplayer, which I played for several hours though, and I missed one or two side quests in Mass Effect 3 (I think the Elcor homeworld one bugged, I couldn't do it. I missed Kasumi's as well)

Overall I'm happy with the length of the game. Not the replayability, as the ending destroys that, but the length is fine.

35 hours on normal. That is about as long as i need for ME2 with DLC on Insanity. Sorry, i can't agree with your view.

Took me ~30 hours doing everything in SP, ME2 took me around 35 including DLC, so not much of a difference to me.

I spent about 34 hours on my first playthrough (with From Ashes), and that's because I skipped reading the Codex and generally ignoring it in favor of doing everything. I was playing on Hardcore with my Vanguard. I didn't even do multiplayer on my first playthrough either.

It took you 45 hours to complete ME2? You must be really, really slow.

I felt it was shorter. First run < 30 Hours accidentally missed a couple things. 2nd Run I was already at TIM's house at 21 Hours being more thorough, but rushing conversations. I don't stop to read codex entries.

I think my ME2 playthrough with everything done (100% exploration everywhere) was about 59 hours. I've not yet finished ME3 but i'm about 20 hours in and I know I have a fair amount to go between main quest and side quests. I also know I've missed a bit along the way, so that would have added extra (Even though I know the endings, I will be playing again and just blanking them out for now).
Playtime is what you make it. There's so many posts claiming to finish the game in as little as 13 hours. All I wonder, is why? What's the point? Where's the fun? I ~like~ the conversations! I want to see how various relationships are handled prior to space-boy intervening.

I love the game for itself and I will play it again even if I have to ignore the endings because the story keeps me upto 30, 40, 50 even 60 hours per game.

Without wanting to sidetrack the thread, I hope bioware read how much the series mean to people like me and everyone like me and give us an ending we can nod to. Not necessarily smile, but just nod.
