Well... I cant say anything. Maybe lack of conversations with crew? But thats hard to say... You have more talks outside of the ship, on Citadel so... Maybe it is better

Oh and the lack of interaction with the ME2 crew.

The quest log wasn't good. That's it, love everything else before...

How ME2 origin characters got shoved to the side, and how the difference between character writing and story writing was glaringly obvious- and bad. Characters got good writing (well, your squaddies did) but the storyline writing itself started to roll downhill part way in.

Downline plot problems as you said, ever since ME1 it's been "OMFG PROTHEAN ARTIFACT? INVESTIGATE NOW!" And in this we learned that they knew of those archives for 60+ years but didn't even bother to study the damn place.
Then there's the interaction with companions, it's.... Very close to not there at all. the only one i felt somewhat connected to again was Liara, Garrus almost, but not quite there.
And then the biggest grievance of all (Besides ending).
Our choices in ME1/2 made fuk all difference other than a number on our war effort screen
Rewriting the geth? k u get 300 more geth in ME3 LOL.

The way they tied in MP to SP (there are a number of ways they could have done this that I'd have been 100% fine with, but the readiness thing is annoying).
The handling of Tali's face.

Really? Huh. I guess the way the game was structured, everything felt sort of like a "side quest". Yeah, the N7 ones were crap. That's disappointing then. :cUnit-Alpha wrote...

Crappy side missions, horrible performance, messy textures.
Otherwise the game was phenomenal.
By side missions, do you mean the scanning ones? Cause pretty much all of the side missions in which you land on a planet I thought were phenominal, especially since most included an old squaddie. Of course, there were so few of that sort.
The planet missions were all main missions, besides the N7 ones, which were crap.

Either ME2 crew being sidelined or weak sidequests.
Friend (under a misunderstanding) actually came up with an awesome idea for the ME2 crew - instead of having six set teammates (like ME3), she thought you could get a PICK of which six teammates to take for the game (including all those that survived in ME2, EDI, Vega, and Javik).

Yeah, the ME2 crew getting the shaft really sucked.
Also hated the lack of cinematic conversations. I'm not sure what you call them, but when you just go up to someone, push talk and hear them respond instead of the old school cinematic cut scenes. Feels very, very lazy.
Journal system.
Lack of weapon holstering.
Ending.

Vague journal and map entries.
Lack of interaction between VS and rest of crew.
Weaker side quests.

Tali photoshoped face... years of big mystery what quarians look like just to have some photoshoped human face...not even on 3D model. Her face was not bad but it was lazy done.

Not having more dialogue with the squadmates given that there were fewer this time around. I liked the mechanic in ME1 of having to get to know your squad over times before they would open up to you (offer their personal missions). But this is also tempered with some great one-on-one moments you get with them on the Citadel.
Not having one identifiable antagonist also irritated me a bit. I would have liked more conversations with Sovereign or any reaper throughout the game to give some perspective on the Reapers beyond what the silly child in the Citadel gave to Shepard.
That's about it really. I also would have liked an interactive aspect to the final battle like they did in ME2. Being able to pick certain ground/space forces for certain tasks as the battle unfolds etc...

Nothing really...?
I mean, there are nitpicks and it will vary from person to person, but the two characters I really wanted back in Garrus and Tali came back.
I despised the EDI thing at first but she grew on me.
Guess I'll say I'm mad they axed the trial, they had a lot of build up for you to go "in your face, people" and it never came to a head. They should have just done the reveal to the whole galaxy at the end of ME2.

Multiplayer not my thing, but not really an issue, so honestly? Nothing. I was declaring it my favorite game EVER all the way up into the beam...
It's really well done.

By the way, what happens if Tali is exiled? Anything? I feel like a lot of the main ME1 and 2 choices were completely devalued.

Right now, the dropped Dark Energy and (mostly dropped) Thorian plots, the tiny Rachni plot and the quest journal being too vague. Really, the Dark Matter plot and dumbed down quest journal is are my biggest beefs; one would've made for a better plot device than the Crucible and the other has a direct impact of gameplay.

Game had insufficient Garrus. I was plesantly surprised by the amount of Blasto however.

besides the ending the only thing that pulled on my chain was the limited amount of character interaction... we were told they were shrinking the squad so they could make more in depth and detailed stories with your squad mates. What'd we get??? One or two convos on the ship then one MAYBE two more on the citadel... Really? We got more from our ME2 squad mates before their loyalty mission.

Probably the auto-dialogue or that most sidequests were actually fetch quests. People didn't like the amount of fetch questing there was in DA2, so I don't know why they'd think this would be different.
Also, why wait so long to complete the crew? After about 10 hours I was tempted to just start skipping sidequests because I was tired of waiting for Tali to show up.
