Aside from the ending, your biggest grievance with Mass Effect 3?

- Multiplayer having such a strong influence on the single-player story.
- Use of the MacGuffin and the Deus Ex Machina writing techniques.
- Sidelining of Mass Effect 2 party members.
- The romances/relationships were given way to little screentime.
These are the tops ones.

Interestingly enough just saw a ME3 commercial as I posted this. TAKE EARTH BACK! Yeah, too bad there's no clear indication that you've done that in the game.

seriously though only other grievance is the lack of dialogue when you compare ME1, ME2 to ME3. most the time you have fixed dialogue that you have zero input to and doesn't even go into cinematic view for it

- No integration of any introduced ME2 characters into Squad (I imagine mainly because they wanted to limit the amount of potential "dead" squad mates from ME2 they'd have to write around)
- Hardly any presence of Harbinger in the game, after he spent all of ME2 taunting and chasing Shep
- No "explorable" city outside of Citadel. (Oh boy Omega DLC inc)
- While most LI scenes were done well, I think there needed to be more of a presence of it throughout the game. Only had about two-three conversations with Tali that alluded to it, while I enjoyed them, didn't seem like much.
Overall the game was fantastic, though. Just nitpicks, all those things can be overseen for the rest of an amazing experience (aside from it that which will not be named)
I did LOVE the dialogue when you take Tali and Garrus to the geth base, and the two of you are making absolutely terrible innuendos. Garrus says something along the lines of "I was there when you two hooked up you know, get a room".

Oh, and EDI's body. I wouldn't have minded her acquiring it at the end of ME3, but at the beginning? I felt it robbed her of character development in order to sex her up. We don't need to see eyes and ****** in order to feel close to a character (SEE DARTH VADER, TALI, ETC).

-Lack of VS interaction once they came back on the normandy
-N7 missions basically being multiplayer missions with your squad
-Tedious fetch quests
-Very little reaper interaction
-Citadel being the only main hub
Auto dialogue being the only one that really bothered me. The others annoyed me but didn't detract too much from my overall enjoyment of the game.

Going along with this, Kei Leng is a bull**** fight(both times) and I stomped the ever living ****** out of him with no trouble. The injustice and rage I felt when he then beat me in a cutscene, stole the info, and then gloated in the email was almost enough to make me quit playing. Aso I said, beating the player in the cutscene is a faux pas that no longer has any legitamte place in gaming.
After that, the poor quality photoshop cop out that was the Tali's face fiasco. That photo couldn't have taken more than an hour to complete and the low quality really, really shows. If you weren't going to show her model than you could have at least given us a quality image. Or if you were too timid to show Tali's face you could have just showed us what Quarions look like and let us decide how Tali looks.

Really bad animation sometimes. Terrible running animation (shep looks flat out bizarre when running around not gunning, stick up the bum) Side quest/missions have bad animations too (miranda is so stiff when she moves and walks). The main missions look fine but side stuff is bad.
Also some really strange idle animations, whats what prot dlc character just looking over his water in his room the whole time? Or kelly just looking at a wall in the docking bay? Just seems a little rushed around the edges.
Crappy side-quests (not side-missions) aka the ones that you have to run around citadel listen to something, get a journal update, scan a planet run back and give them it.
Journal not updating when you do get something for a sidequest. Let me know I have the item and who to give it back to.
Bugs: I got stuck in the environment, Tons of AI probs..bad guys stick to things, fall through world, dont react. Quests bug out or are broken.
Mass Effect 2 characters sidelined (like everyone else said).
Story or character isn't as strong as 1 or 2 (so far, again have yet to beat it).

´Mordins death hurt me!
He was like the most liket character in any game I have played, I liked his humor and scientific singing and jokes. He was bright, honest and funny, a wonderful character. Sucks that he died on Tuchanka (in my playthrough), I dont know if you can make it so that he doesn't die.
Are you kidding me? Mordin is my favorite ME character of all time and his death (both-ways) is the most epic part of the entire game!!!

i felt the directed in a certain way I didn't feel like I had the freedom to mold the story with my own decisions as i did with mass effect 1 & 2.
the side quests were mainly on the citadel and even then you had to go out scan a bunch of times get chased by reapers and if you miss it and get chased by reapers you have to complete a mission before you can go back which sucked. so i wasn't to fond of the side quests.
the whole multi player influences the single player was stupid and pointless and not needed.
the reputation system i felt confused the whole be a renegade or be a paragon player aspect of the game play. it seems also that you cant talk the illusive man out of shooting Anderson a second time unless you have like 100% paragon/reputation which is stupid.
nothing seemed to matter execpt war assets that didnt even really help that much.
overall i think they overcomplicated the game way to much. dont get me wrong i still love the game itself (except the ending!!!! i know im sorry) but i dont think it was really a true mass effect game in my eyes id still play it over and over and over if they would just fix the ending. but those are all the cons i loved everything else about the game, seeing old friends and characters again, the action the game play, jarvik (he was cool IMO), the whole emotional mind set your pushed into. it was a great experience UNTIL THE BLOODY LAST 5 MINUTES.
