Beyond that and the obvious problems with the ending, I really don't have much to complain about. Which makes it all the more unfortunate, I guess.

ME2 cast sidelined. I would have ditched EDI as a teamate entirely and brought back Legion, or Grunt, or any squadmate besides Jacob. Speaking of which, ''sexy'' robots? What is this, Austin Powers <_
Crucible comes from nowhere at the beginning. You would think Vigil would have mentionned such an important artifact.
Besides this, not much, really. ME3's plot is my favourite of the series, hell the game itself is. Excepting that horrible other element, of course.

OH MAN, I forgot the stupid collectors edition dog. WHAT was that.
Yes. Even though I struggled with my better judgement, I still paid nearly 80 bucks for a CE. I wanted to support Bioware as much as I could with what I'm making...but what in the sam hell is up with the dog? I thought he'd be roaming the whole of Normandy. Not just in the cargo hold. Hell, I thought he'd be in combat like we saw them in ME 2.

I kept waiting for him to do something. He doesn't even follow you around the docking bay! Hell, the varren on tuchanka in ME2 was cooler than he was. You got a little mini game and he followed you around. Was he planned to be a bigger deal and then they ran out of time? What was the deal?
And yeah the CE is the worst one I've ever bought. Stupid normandy postcard.

* mutliplayer - boring
- 1 game mode
- always same maps
--> add at least something like l4d style or the main story missions
* wrong camera placements during conversations and scenes
- also very disturbing if the characters body is facing his converstian partner but the head is turned 90°
* animations
- grabbing through shoulders, hands ... and so on
- charakters don't hold weapons right while walking into the scene (e.g. N7:fuel depot)
* TIM's base - what is doing the human reaper there? i blew the whole collectors base up. The reapers body survived anyway?!
*The beginning:
- No explanation why Shepard had been arrested (i had a full paragon and made everything right)
(or did i miss anything?)
* auto-dialog / couldn't decide as much as in ME 2 (my opinion)
* always only 2 decisions available (where was the neutral one?)
* lesser sidemissions than the other two ME titles
- i liked to scan a planet and find a crash side with an emergency message where i could save one or two guys or retrieve informations
- i hoped with the scanning i could find space stations or crashing /raided ships like in ME 1 and 2 - i got disappointed
EDIT: CE - Dog: That dog doesn't follow you around. That thing is just in the cargo bay and walking in circles.
EDIT 2: Ah yes, the Normandy "lithography" ... lol. Other CEs have first POSTERS and not POSTCARDS for lesser money and second the have overall more content. (Was my first CE and was too "blind" and figured it out later %) )
Thanks for reading.

Wow, you are so right. The varren (Kurtz or whatever his name is) was so much better. He was even cute!
I wish I had a varren right now to cuddle with. I'd send him to Bioware with all of my thoughts on a letter, but I can't imagine that would turn out pretty.

-- Short short short.
-- Massively buggy.
-- Quest log is a joke.
-- More linear than the previous/almost no actual side quests (scan-a-planet doesn't count.)
-- Had to install Origin.
-- Lied to about the number of endings.
-- Deceived about how multiplayer and singleplayer interact. (Mitigated somewhat by the fact the endings aren't actually different enough for me to care about my Readiness ever again.)
-- No cross platform multiplayer. (But see above.)
-- Plot holes the size of Texas.
-- Blatant fanservice (which I wouldn't even mind -- if it weren't being done by the main character.) Because we all know normal women totally sleep in thongs and bras, and never use blankets or sheets.
-- On a related note, the ex-love-interest-in-the-hospital conversation. The "Shepard, did you cheat on me?" line can only be answered with a tearful confession, a frank confession, or a transparent lie. The biggest badass in the galaxy doesn't have an option to say "Pft, I didn't cheat on you. I dumped you."?
-- Designers apparently couldn't decide if the game was taking place over the course of days or over the course of months ("Shepard, every hour you delay costs us thousands of lives!" "But I need to spend a couple days visiting a system that's light years from the nearest relay so I can get a book for this dude on the citadel! And then sit around having a leisurely brunch with my buddy on the presidium!")
-- Lack of skills (much like the endings, giving us half a dozen different ammo powers doesn't fool anyone.)
-- *&@$%*@ scenes where I have to run in slow motion (during a retarded dream sequence that hasn't got anything to do with the story, to boot) or limp for half a mile or pretend I'm dodging lasers that are, in fact, undodgeable. This is what cutscenes are for. Although that brings me to...
-- The interrupt system (again.) For the love of the gods, let me take my freaking hand off the mouse and stretch my freaking wrist and drink my freaking soda during the freaking cutscenes.
-- Shepard seems to have become retarded. I wanted to slap Shepard for some of the completely brain-dead crap that would come out of her mouth after I selected a perfectly sane looking conversation option on the wheel.
-- No replay value. I bought everything, did all the quests, got all the dialogue options, and have no reason to import a second character unless I just really feel like listening to Ashley recite godsdamned poetry next time around.
And less seriously...
-- Being outranked by the self-absorbed *&$%# that called me a traitor for doing his/her damn job last game. Although Ash did get demoted from "tough soldier type" to "skank," so maybe I shouldn't be too hard on her.
-- No Wrex. Shepard. Wrex. Shepard.

That, or the bugs with choice-and-effect. In my playthrough, twice it was said that I had killed the Rachni queen, once it was said that I had let her live (a choice which my Shepard defended even though he had, in fact, killed her).
Or the bug I heard about where Tali committed suicide on Rannoch, then showed up for the love scene before attacking Cerberus. Lolwut?
The beginning was a bit confusing for those of us who didn't play Arrival, and I was disappointed that we already had most of our abilities unlocked by default because we had a billion skill points.

My biggest grivances were Thane and Mordin's deaths, I literally bawled. I also cried when I saw David from Project Overlord in ME2.
I have a few minor complaints, but they pale in comparison to the ending. Let's see, I would've liked to see more conflict between the ME1 LI and the ME2 LI. Also, the Tali's face stock-image was kind of mean
And... I would've liked to see a couple more same sex love interests. Specifically Shiala and Gianna Parsini for FShep, then Gavorn and Kirrahe for MShep.
I know, Kirrahe would be a weird option but... for some reason, I like it
I also hate Shepard's incessant rolling. It's hard for me to control, but that's definitely at the bottom of my list. And... is it weird that I miss planet scanning and Mako missions? xD
EDIT: Yes, I was also upset about the lack of squadmates

- Sometimes Shepard reacted automatically, for me out of character
- no LI cheat-mentioning at all
- Mission Journal was pretty much useless
- My robotic dog was absolutely useless.
I really enjoyed the ride. It was a great game.

As for small problems, the minor technical issues like sound cracking in combat, dialogue fading, and what I felt was a bit of a short Romance scene for Tali, there really wasn't anything
