Seems to me that they were having trouble implementing previous choices (Liara flashback) into the endgame. Hence why they made it more of a one size fits all afair.

Harbinger's sidelineing is straight up 'broader audience' antics. Could have had it both ways if he said something, anything earlier on in the game.

Relays always exploding is a way to recycle assets -- cutscenes, in this case.

Then again I've yet to see any ideas that are WORSE than what we actually got.

This is waaaayyyy better than the one we got. I really wouldn't mind if ME3 release got delayed if the ending got implemented the right way or do some justice to the series x_x

Inexplicable, I'd say, considering BW was claiming to have already had a working build of ME3 last year, and a working script for ME3 even earlier than that.

I disagree that sidelining Harbinger was for wider appeal, since Harby was more or less concieved to create a tangible villian to begin with. Also, Harby's journal entry is given to players very early on, which makes it more awkward that he doesn't show up until the very end.

I honestly don't care what the ending consists of, or how it happens as long as the Relays and Citadel don't get destroyed, Earth is saved, Shepard lives and the Reapers get destroyed.

Some of the cut stuff does exist. Such as the longer conversation between Shepard and Anderson that this guy mentioned.

Given that most of what changed is Harbinger, I'd wager they couldn't get Harbinger's VA for 3 and subsequently opted to write in god kid rather than get someone similar and just play with the .wav files in soundbooth until they got something that sounded just like harbinger.

Actually the voice actor for Harbinger played a npc character during a side mission. That or the guy sounded just like him. I actually freak out for a moment because i thought Harbinger was controlling him.

Yeah I agree the endings still don't give full closure. And as it is the end of Shepherds ME story. full closure for what every ending you choose out of the many would be favorable.

I don't even care if I die, as long as my death defeateds the reapers.
