it's not the best but it at least puts some real choices in and your decisions make a difference and since he said some would live and die if you decided not to submit to Harbinger I assume there would be significantly more cut scenes.

Throwing in my 2 cents, I'd say that this posted ending would be satisfying.

If we had been given this ending we were given, I would have been more than fine with it. Not the ending I would have expected, but WORLDS better than the one we got. Not to mention there are actual differences between these endings and not just a different colored explosion. If I wanted that I would just wait till the 4th of July and shoot of different colored fireworks.

Interesting **** this is, I prefer this ending. Not perfect, but WAY better than StarChild and I would've been extremely satisified with this.

Plus, it has HARBY!

Even if this isn't true I hope it never gets outright denied because I'd much rather believe that they cut things due to a time crunch than believing they actually liked and fully thought out the ending they gave us.

I am amazed at how EA have lost total with what they used to stand for, quality games. And for what reasons? Kinect support? Quarter financial review?

EA does not care about their costumers, they just want to exploit our passion for games.

Honestly, while I was only able to dream up an expansion that would solve the current endings, this is so well-put together that, if it's false, I have to award the writer of it one trillion internets. My assumption was always that Bioware either planned to release an expansion to wrap up the game, or they ran out of time and money. Looks like that's even more likely (assuming this is true. It could just be phony).

The OP has better endings then what we got. It makes more sense and leaves the story open for a Mass Effect 4.

No idea if this is true, but it sounds a lot more like a proper ending to me. Varied choices and outcomes depending on what happened in the game(s). Sacrifices, heroics and closure. Hope we'll get there yet!

His explanation of the endings sound like BS. His entire post was convincing up until the end, where he tries to explain the Destroy ending and how shepard ends up in the rubble.... i thnk that was just a dumb cutscene included by BW for our "interpretation", there was no need to explain it and I seriously doubt BW had cut it short.


Anyways, whether or not all of that is real, it is definitely a better ending, even though the outcome is relatively the same. I do not ask for a happy ending, but I require something that makes sense WITHOUT waiting for the next installment or DLC.

This would be a whole lot better than the current plothole ridden one. This doesn't lose what Bioware did try. Just explains it better and fixes the plotholes.

That is a thousand times better than the ending we got, but I still wonder....

why establish that sentient AIs are 'human' throughout the narrative of the game and then force players to commit mass genocide as the only way to truely 'stop the Reapers'.

You can beat the game, but only if you're willing to exterminate an entire race!

BioWare....why the %$^$%^%$ was this NOT the ending? It's obviously not perfect and doesn't take all choices into consideration, but christ, it is a MILLION times better than what we got....

It is really disheartening that if this isn't even close to being true that soooo many fans can come up with endings that just make the one we got look like complete and utter garbage.

One of my biggest disappointments with the endings we got: Harbinger (or lack there of). I would have loved a confrontation with Harby, just like with Sovereign, maybe that is just my opinion though. I just figured the supposed most powerful Reaper (according to the in-game codex) would have more than 1 scene where he shoots down the Hammer ground forces and flies off.

Well, perhaps this is true, we'll all be very lucky, and Bioware is now taking the time to implement these endings.

Or it's all just someone blowing smoke, and who knows. Guess we'll see when we see.

Much better ending... Not perfect, but very satisfying and nothing to rage over, especially since the ems will matter, and choices matter a bit more, and multiple endings

I absolutely believe the ending was rushed, thats why all these other things were not implemented and we only got the bare minimum.

For shame Bioware, for shame. Harbinger deserves much more than this, as do we fans.
