For those people having trouble connecting to the Galaxy at War the most successful workaround seems to be to go to the Mail section and hit the download icon. It will either fail, download messages or return 0 new mail. If it fails try again. After that GAW seems to connect.

If you get "invalid password" even though you're using the correct one for Origin in the Datapad app or Infiltrator it may be because you're using a symbol such as & in the password. the iOS versions don't like those even though they're fine on PC.

Thanks, ShepN7, but having no luck with this either. I can get the Mail just fine, but even if I successfully download new messages then go straight into GaW I still get the "requires an internet connection" error.

Zoev, I'm only an end user so I don't have any deep insight into the workings of this but I'm happy to try to work through a few things either on this thread or by PM to see if we can find a solution.

Are you connecting by wi-fi, 3G? latest version 5.1 of iOS? The workaround has worked for me on iPad and iPod touch (3rd gen) over wi-fi.

It is on the UK apple store, I'm using the app right now.

I'm enjoying this app on my iPad, but since I rarely bring it with me outside of my home, having the app available on my Android phone would be great. I could work on my galactic readiness while commuting to work. Here's hoping that this will happen soon!

Its great and all but 500,000 credits to improove galatic readiness is far to steep. At leat if they provided an update to give you at least 5000 per mission it would be more reasonable. There really is no point to playing it after you beT the game but, i imagine BioWare has something up there sleaves or better yet i hope they do.

Thanks for the app bioware now if i cant get on my ps3 to put the readiness rating up i can get on my ipod thanks.

I found it quite useful in getting the needed "readiness" without devoting a lifetime to multiplayer....Just wish I could figure out how to get Ashley's image to appear.

Android actually has a larger % of the market than Apple does, (Q4 Nielson data has Android at 46% and iOS at 30%) so by not doing an android app, they're actually cutting out the majority of smartphone/tablet users.

a fix for Ashleys picture as well as the poor internet/origin connection issue would be helpfull

But as an app for getting my rediness up without having to bother with multyplayer its great

Im at 150.000 and some. So tour real up there. I hope they release a patch so we can get more money on this pRticular app and when we are done with the gacatic upgrades we can transffer app money to either in game sp or mp. I think that would be badddddddd

I'd keep doing it if my credits transferred over to the game. 500K for a readiness percentage increase is pointless, since I can get large gains across the whole galaxy in a single round of multiplayer. There's really no point to the datapad Galaxy at war function,

I disagree, for those of us who do not want to play ME multyplayer ever!, then this is a good(with a few bugs) free way of upping Galatic readiness, which thanks to BW error is the only way to get the required EMS for best finish.

Whoops, I am lying to myself!  I am only at 178k right now.  Not sure how I messed that up but I was sure it was 200k.  Oh well, add another few days...
