So.......um.......Android release?

I know like 1 person that owns an iPhone.....and that's my mom who's in her early 60's.

All the rest of my friends and family members, and 100% of us who are gamers, own Androids...so just a small-non-random sample....

Here in Italy it's the complete opposite I think :|

Also true where I am in the UK, everybody owns an iPhone and judging from global sales regardless of personal views on Apple I think it's fair to say BW will get a huge number of people downloading their app.  It do understand that it does suck however if you aren't one of those people.

As an aside, considering I've just destroyed technology across the galaxy doesn't it render my app obsolete/utterly pointless? ;)

I would really like to see this for Android, or some functionality for running it on your PC. Not everyone has an iPhone, and not everyone has a smart phone.

iOS isnt just limited to iPhones, its iPads and iPods too, plus theirs a lot more variations on android hardware which makes it harder for them im guessing.

Seriously BioWare, the Android userbase is huge. I rarely ever buy apps, but I'd actually lay down money for this on my phone. Get on it.

Actually I read in the Metro not too long ago, Android is the dominant smart phone platform in the UK.

Okay, just looked up the article, maybe "not too long ago" is a stretch, it was last July. But seriously, I doubt things have changed that significantly in 8 months. Link: http://www.metro.co....artphone-market

I like the app, having the codex always available for a wee read now and again is something I've wanted since the first ME game. GaW is alright, but I'm really loving the whole Messages things with the crew et al. I would love to be able to reply to their comments in the app with a wee paragon or renegade response.

Really, really cool app!

•  For the messages portion, is Ashley's avatar missing for anyone else?

•  Are the the messages displaying out of chronological order regardless of sort preference? For example, Tali's message complaining about a hangover is showing up older than her actual drunk text.

•  Has anyone's love interest sent them a message addressing the romance?

•  Needs a way to disable the UI and sound effect noises

I'm amusing the GAW Map is suppose to increase your readiness Level in Mass Effect 3. I have done three mission all set at 1%. my readiness has not changed at all.

Is their some kind of delay from the App to the game?

Looks interesting, thanks for putting this out there for free.

Will check it out once it's available on a non-U.S. iTunes store.

no it does not, they could have made a multi platform app with as much ease.
Most modern game engines like UDK or Unity3D support multi platform cooking so... it's rather Canadian choice not "harder".

Another vote for Android/PC version. Browser version would be a fine choice too.

Errr... Is this app US iTunes store only? It doesn't seem to come up in Australia. How do I get it...?

Edit: Ok, the link in the original post doesn't work but it does seem you can get the app in other stores. I stand corrected!

Never said anything about the whole of the UK, I was merely talking about my own sphere :)

Also isn't this all moot anyway? Haven't they already said it will be released on Android soon? Whatever the reason they'll always get stick for it. If it had been released on Android 1st it would have been people with iPhones kicking off.

What the heck bioware?

Not compatible with my iphone 3G on iOS 4.2.1 - That's just lazy, it's not like I 'd expect running the next gen unreal mobile version or anything like that perfectly on my iphone 3G (what had been done however with Dead Space before and worked quite well), just the datapad app,... No reason whatsoever to rely on iOS 5 or newer hardware stuff.

In general, sure the iPhone 3G on 4.2.1 is an older iPhone but if you look at what had been done on it and is in fact very much possible and not much of an extra effort, heck the whole DS version of that one Final Fantasy title got converted for it and ran beautifully but here bioware tells me oh that simple datapad app no can do? I don't care about the infiltrator game app or anything but that datapad-app really has no reason to leave any hardware out.

Really some lame, cheap (meaning the result not the probably really expensive marketing bioware/ EA paid), marketing effort.

It's not a bad app but there is a few problems.
The often noted replacement of Ash's lovely face with the blue question make of death
Does the codex update as you go along or is it just the same entrie irrespective of you having completed the game?
Can replys by @masseffect to people be removed from the news section. All I've seen are tweets to people and no actual news posts.

Any of my five Android devices would love to have this app. Releasing your apps for minority OSes that have a minor cult following is kinda a waste.
