 Hello all. I played a bit of the MP on day one with very little problem. Managed to get to lvl 6 with my engineer. Every time since then, my game hard freezes once the MP session loads the game map. Same spot everytime. I can select my character and loadout but as soon as I an see the map
Start to load it locked up to the point of a hard reset on the ps3. Has anyone else had this particular issue and are there any fixes. Coming down the line?

Also worth mentioning is that I had no problems with the MP demo before the retail version came out.

I'm getting this too. Last 5 games in a row I've had a freeze.

I had my first hard crash last night. I was in a four-player bronze match at the Cerberus lab. I was playing a Krogan soldier with fortification active. When it crashed I was walking down the inside ramp from the upper to the lowest level (at the back of the map). There weren't any enemies or allies on screen at the time, and I wasn't firing weapon / using power, just walking.

This happened to me twice a week or so ago when I was playing the multiplayer with the demo- it made me stop playing the demo altogether. I was at wave 10 both times and it wouldn't give me my exp and credits retroactively. hasn't happened to me on the full game version yet, but its probably only a matter of time...

Just to contribute, I created a post also about this, and I confirm, I got a whole bunch of Hard reset ( PS3 ), because of this game ... I never had so many on my PS3, actually that's probably more Hard boot than I EVER had before ....

I play online mostly, this is pathetic...

Such a great game, but the experience is totally ruined by this .... And I fear the day my PS3 can't reboot because it's corrupted .....

I tried playing again this morning with a different class and got the same lock when entering the map. I've already deleted the game data and reinstalled the patch. Is there something else I can do? Can I get a reply from a Mod or Bioware Employee? The multiplayer is completely broken for me since day one. I was really looking forward to it.

 still no luck getting into an acutal game. I have opened some ports that i found on the forums but no luck. 

This is as far as I can get (screen below). locks up here everytime.

This just happened to me. Only needed one more match to get 100% GR. I was playing, then suddenly the picture froze and the audio stopped.

I'm playing on a PS3, by the way.

I've attempted to play multi 4 times since the games release. In each of the 4 matches I've gotten approximately 10 to 15 minutes into each match and gotten freeze/kicked/disconnected losing all of the xp that I had gained. In short, I've played multi for about an hour and am still at level 1.

Yes I would like to know why they would release a game that isn't even completely de-bugged. This reminds me of when I got Dead Island but couldn't play do to it being broken. This is the first time I have had a hard freeze since playing, but I have had plenty of glitch moments as well as having my character jump out or through a map. Really great game, just too many little problems.

just happened to me, gosh i hope they fix ALL of these problems with the next patch..... it's a great game it's just a shame there are too many things like this that get in the way

Bumping this AND posting my own experiences:
My last 5 freezes (over the course of the past several days) have taken place EVERY time on Wave 11 Silver after I kill something.

I defend the shuttle landing zone, and then I kill something, and it it freezes. Sometimes totally, sometimes the sound and controller rumble still goes on for several moments before stopping.

Unfortunately, Bioware has yet to even acknowledge any kind of freezing issue, and the fact that I see so many threads on the front page without a single Bioware response does not bode well for the PS3 community.

Yupp, count me in. About once out of every 20 games. Hardfreeze, as in soundcard starts jammering and the rig is frozen for good.....very annoying...

 just had a hard freeze on wave 9. bioware needs to look into this before they irritate thier fanebase even more.

I still can't even get to the map. Hard freeze every game. MP is going to brick my hard drive.

I've hard frozen on more than one occasion. Has anyone also had choppy/laggy frame rates? Happens generally during reapers after biotic explosion or after knocking an enemy outside of the map...

Just had a hard freeze on multiplayer. Happened twice now, once on bronze and then on silver. I am very concerned that this is going to corrupt my hard drive. I hope BW is addressing this.

Your lens might be on the fritz. I had that happen to me, but after I used a special laser lens cleaning disc it never happened again.

Dificulty silver around 5 lvl then total hard freez im afraid this will make my ps3 go crazy and break...

Yeah I cant play through a single match without a freeze, total system lockup, have to hard reset.
Yet I can play single player perfectly fine, so its clearly a problem with multiplayer.
I've tried several nvidia drivers including the newest beta ones.
It works fine on my laptop which, has very similar hardware, and no freezing.
Really pissing me off.

it usually hard freezes on me when framerate drops real bad which is almost always.

Tried two more times tonight and got 2 more freezes; each occurring approx. 10 minutes into each game. Was hoping for 100% galactic readiness for my first play through but it looks like that's not going to happen. Still at lvl 1 btw.

Bethesada's Skyrim remains the hard freeze — and data corruption — champion on my PS3, but at the rate ME3 is going, it's going to be a close second before much longer. Just had my first freeze in MP after experiencing several freezes in SP.

I went out and bought a lens cleaner just to see if that was the problem.

still no go. I even joined a game in progress and it locked up as soon as i entered.

EA/BW - some feedback would be nice here. I've played maybe an hour or two TOTAL of multiplayer since day one. I have experienced a Hard Freeze every single game since that time.

the MP (which was a HUGE selling point) is completely unplayable. I had no issues with the MP demo at all I had a lvl 17 engineer by the time the game came out.

Help please?
