Anyone else keeping track of @masseffect's tweets? (twitter.com/#!/masseffect)

So far these have stood out:

User 1: "I still want to believe you guys are sneaky trolls and have something going on you don't tell us yet. Can I get a cryptic reply?"
@masseffect: "The sun, it shines. www.youtube.com/watch"

User 2: "You are either a massive sadist or a beacon of hope."
@masseffect: "Can't it be both?"

User 3: "I kinda feel lost after that ending...not what I expected and left me feeling everything done was for nothing."
@masseffect: "We know it's a lot to take in! But hang in there. Your decisions matter."

User 4: "Are you holding something back, that could quell the large amount of frustration from the community, a tiny hint would be enough."
@masseffect: "Mike Gamble already said on his twitter, if the fans knew what was in store, the reaction would be different."

User 5: "I loved 98% of ME3..but something has to be up w/ ending..too much talent at BW for that business. Keep my saves?"
@masseffect: "We're keeping our saves, that's for sure."

User 6: "Fans are people too. Playing with their minds isn't that nice as it may look like to people from Bioware."
@masseffect: "We're not playing with anyone's minds, we are answering what questions we can and recording what feedback we receive."

User 7"Its not that the ending was taken in the wrong direction its that it makes NO SENSE. Ashley was on the Normandy? she [was] with me."
@masseffect: "Probably a good thing to be cautious of."

User 8"Do y'all have any ETA when more news will be released? Dying for news on a new ending/DLC."
@masseffect"No ETA yet, but you will be updated via Facebook and Twitter when the news is available :)."

So my thought is... what are they getting at here?
Feel free to discuss. :)

Best case scenario? They had some sort of plan mapped out for an extension to the ending and are using this controversy to drum up more sales.

Worst case scenario? They have no plan, are trying to save face, have no plans on doing anything, and are still using this controversy to drum up more sales.

So basically, business as usual.

I'm getting fed up with this. It seems on a regular basis Bioware don't comment on something or tell us to wait for information. Then later on they tell us they were unable to do so.

Though that last tweet gives me hope.

By being vague they instill 'hope' for the people who think BIoware will fix something or have something up their sleve. That way they pacify some people.

It's just PR to try and downplay the unhappy fans.

Seems pretty obvious to me what Bioware is doing. They accomplished the biggest troll in videogame history. Think about it, they reel you in, seemingly innocently with an amazing game. Then they lead you on until the last 5 minutes and then BAM! Biggest troll ever!

Honestly, I'm not sure.
The first one I could just write off as @MASSEFFECT being snarky.
But the second and third one DO almost hint that there is MORE than we realize.  Particularly the 3rd one, considering THAT is the biggest part of our fight over this.

Dammit.  The mystery deepens.

Ugh, that last tweet gives me some hope. Although I'm still extremely skeptical that Bioware will do anything.

Except that it may be backfiring. Folks are returning their games or canceling orders. Only time will tell if the move helps them or hurts.

Seeing those tweets is making the frustration worse.
I'm all for holding the line and being civil with our cause, but I can't help but feel myself getting more bothered by all the vagueness.
I SO BADLY want to play my ME3 again. Hell, the whole damn series. But I CAN'T.  It just upsets me.  I can't play them again until we get some sort of closure that shows us it wasn't for nothing.

Still vague enough that you can't pull much out of it. The track record of these kinds of little hints and such coming to fruition is pretty bad.

Wouldn't get my hopes up without something official: "We are working on post-ending content."

Otherwise, they are just being contradictory. By other accounts this is the end of Shepard's story, and there will be no post-ending DLC.

The risk in a trolling of this magnitude is not worth it. They've already done permanent damage to their fanbase. When it seems like they have something up their sleeve (and something too good to be true), it gives hope but more importantly causes the fanbase to ease up the pressure.

AKA damage control with an Fawkes mask.

Even if they pull something out, they have already lost a lot of people so it's bad business either way.

there is another tweet i found in the Liara thread:

@masseffect Are you holding something back, that could quell the large
amount of frustration from the community, a tiny hint would be enough

@jakefinn94 Mike Gamble already said on his twitter, if the fans knew what was in store, the reaction would be different.

They definitly have something, just nobody here knows what it will be.
Still I'm feeling something like hope...

The third one could simply mean our decisions matter when we import our saved game into the next game in the ME universe.
I hope to god they mean more than that though.

I don't know about this, I still want a damn solid response not the same stupid vague crap we've been getting but at least these tweets are better than the stupid crap we've had the past few days.

If Bioware doesn't have something planned they need to stop being so damn cryptic, its just going to blow up in their faces. Whether they agree with their fans our not they are seem to be leading them on, if they don't have any kind of expansion or clarification for the ending planned then BLAM! Biotic explosion in their face.

The first is PR, hoping to convince someone to stick around and buy more DLC.

The second is essentially being made fun of, or just toying with them.

The third is PR, hoping to convince someone to stick around and buy more DLC.
