Mass Effect Tweets

Marcin, I read all that in Liara's voice. This is probably indeed wishful thinking, but I'm beginning to hope there might just be some truth in the fan theories. They CAN'T end it there. They just CAN'T. I had more faith in them than that.

User 4: "Are you holding something back, that could quell the large amount of frustration from the community, a tiny hint would be enough."
@masseffect: "Mike Gamble already said on his twitter, if the fans knew what was in store, the reaction would be different."
Either he is extremely exctited to announce something that will give us all what we've been dying to get, or he's still ignorant to the issue and it's something that doesn't change the ending at all. I love Bio, but I love Mass Effect more. I have hope.

Heh, thanks. I have decided to turn the utter despair I felt after seeing the ending into (usually sarcastic) humour, often gallows humour.Eternalsteelfan wrote...

Nope, no good, gotta do it...
If Shepard doesn't get here soon, there might not be a franchise left to save...
I enjoyed this post far too much.
Seems to work, actually!

Except that it may be backfiring. Folks are returning their games or canceling orders. Only time will tell if the move helps them or hurts.
And if it's ture a large chunk of those guy's will buy thir now marked up copies and pay essentially double what they got from turing it in. Trading in games kind sucks in the money department.

You all know the DLC, and what is at stake.
I have come to trust BioWare with my life - but I have also hear murmurs of discontent. I share your concerns.
We are seeking an answer; we would receive one, but the records are sealed. Glory for Shepard's squad is not our way.
Think of our heroes; Garrus Vakarian, who defeated an empty bottle with a single shot. Or Chris Priestley, who kept legions of fans at bay with hidden facts.
These giants do not seem to give us solace here, but they are not all that we are.
Before Mass Effect 3's ending, there was Mass Effect 2's ending. Before the god-child, there was the awesome showdown with the Illusive Man!
Our quest may give us answers, but until then, we will hold the line!
Our hopes for Shepard may be realised, but until then, we will hold the line!
Our influence will give us what we seek; in the battle today, WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!

Except that many of them may not. Some may be pissed enough to blow off the series completely which in turn will hurt bioware on dlc purchases. This whole thing doesn't have the slightest ring to a smart PR move on bioware's part.

On an unrelated note, does anyone else notice the irony in "the battle for Earth has begun, decide how it ends?" What do I get to decide precisely? What colour the Citadel explodes in? In exactly which form the Reaper debris falls to the planet's surface? And what motivation do I have to choose one outcome over the others, considering the fact that I don't find out what happens afterwards and so none of them has any particular bearing on the series relative to the others?

That was a brilliant troll. I'm sure whatever bioware dev replied to that did a doubletake.

I reaaalllyy REAALLLYY hope that all this isn't explained through the Homeworlds comic comic out in April. The character posters for it show your squadmates in London. That would be so disappointing.
Not likely since you have the power to choose any two you want, technically 3 since EDI is conversing with you a lot. A comic would "negate" whoever you chose to go with you.
This would create riots!
