They're going to drag it out, wait till the cry dies down, and expect everyone to buy again anyways.

Worst case scenario, they're doing really good damage control and bluffing us because we have little to no leverage for until another BioWare product comes out.
I think it's somewhere in the middle, that they're making something but only in response to the hatred. Otherwise an announcement would have come sooner, I think.

Probably what it is. Tweets don't give me hope; they've misled us before.NPH11 wrote...
I bet we're in for some great multiplayer DLC!

there is another tweet i found in the Liara thread:
@masseffect Are you holding something back, that could quell the large
amount of frustration from the community, a tiny hint would be enough
@jakefinn94 Mike Gamble already said on his twitter, if the fans knew what was in store, the reaction would be different.
They definitly have something, just nobody here knows what it will be.
Still I'm feeling something like hope...
So they have something coming. In the mean time, their fanbase is imploding. Not a good time to keep secrets

If it's not and the DLC they are planning on releasing is just a costume pack then the reaction is going to be destructive. If it's a continuation of Shepard's story....pretty much all is forgiven, depending on the execution.

What that actually means is that once the fans find out that they only planned on releasing map packs, the reaction will be worse

Except that it may be backfiring. Folks are returning their games or canceling orders. Only time will tell if the move helps them or hurts.
How do you return a game that you played? Am I missing something? Sure you can sell it to GameStop but its not like you can return a game because you did not like the ending. If you cancel the order fine but why not play it and form your own opinion.

Have heard said tweet and has since read article about multi-player DLC. This one is not amused.

Gamble also immediately backed away from any notion of ending DLC when people peppered him with questions. Don't search for meaning in vague tweets.
Until someone gives the community a completely straightforward, crystal-clear, answer that specifically addresses the questions everyone has, don't assume much.

In response to @masseffect's response to user 3:
@masseffect @dacajunrtard Yeah, your decisions DO matter. Yellow beam, blue beam or green beam in the end movie. Makes it all worthwhile.

@fstjernstrom There are a number of different ways the state of the galaxy can be left in. You decide that. Your decision matter.

I wasn't even upset by the ending I was OK with it, but if they drag this out and its something like a costume pack I'll be pissed. I'm not a ****ing idiot, don't tease me just to lead to massive blue balls. Not cool bro, not cool...
