I don't want to be let down again. They are just going to throw together some half***** explanation for the endings that still wont make sense.

I don't want an explination, I want different ones. Don't just make up random stuff to try to make the horrible ones you threw up make sense.

Personally, as someone without a Twitter account (and someone who can't follow the format ;_;) I'd love it if people could collect the tweets in this thread.

Again, best case: we've got hope.

Worst case: we have a list of more documented lies :P

Keep them coming!

I will add any interesting tweets I find!

Everyone: Feel free to post any additional tweets, I'll add them to the OP.

Finally someone is willing to make such an info thread.

You are a goddess, thank you

Well, this crushes my hopes again.

@masseffect @dacajunrtard Yeah, your decisions DO matter. Yellow beam, blue beam or green beam in the end movie. Makes it all worthwhile.
Response from @masseffect:
@fstjernstrom There are a number of different ways the state of the galaxy can be left in. You decide that. Your decision matter.

Heh, the bioware community managers should get into politics. That is masterful spin!

And, again, Gamble retweeted the Penny Arcade article that supported the ending and then deleted it.

IMO, this was because he was: experiencing a backlash over it, agreed with it because the endings work in addition to the DLC he knows is coming, or just retweeted it because he's sticking by them as an artistic statement.

Time will tell :o

This is disheartening, to say the least.  Being trolled by people you pay money to... I feel dirty.

Well I have nothing to lose by doubting or believing them. Let's see what they have to say.

Do I have to tell my story about the doors again?  No, I think I'll tell it differently this time.

A man walks into a room with a million cupcakes on a table, each of a different color.  He picks one and eats it.

"How did it taste?" asks another man, and the first man tells him.

There, I just told a story with a million different endings!  You can decide what the cupcake tasted like!  It's up to you to fill that in on your own!

The "many different states the galaxy could be left in" mean absolutely bupkis if you don't SHOW US THAT!  We should not be expected to fill in the blanks!

OMG, there is no not a doubt in my heart that we'll be getting extended endings after seeing those responses. I wonder if the indoctrination theory is true, or perhaps even grander than what Bioware was even thinking. Either way I feel a lot better about the game now!

It may just be wishful thinking on my part but that first one there sounds like the earlier 'trollish' responses.

The latter one.. I have no idea. Maybe the same thing?

I want to hope but I don't want to have it crushed...

After talking with others about the ending I'm going to hold out hope for ME 3.5 or ME 4. I'm going to put more faith in BioWare and believe that they are doing this on purpose and they want to see us sweat!

I will gain hope. It is all I have.

And hopefully, by the time they crush it, I just won't care anymore.

I got a reply from @masseffect:

redzppln
@masseffect I loved 98% of ME3..but something has to be up w/ ending..too much talent at BW for that business. Keep my saves?
Mass Effect ‏ @masseffect
@redzppln We're keeping our saves, that's for sure.

It's obviously nothing clear, but I was trying to get SOME response..

I maintain that something is up, though.

Keep in mind it releases last in Japan.

Best end will be akin to Gurren Lagann minus your LI dying.

They made TIM salvage the human reaper from the collector base for a reason.

Just guessing. The way this is ramping up the same as the game before the massive let down it has to be the opposite.

Seeing those tweets is making the frustration worse.
I'm all for holding the line and being civil with our cause, but I can't help but feel myself getting more bothered by all the vagueness.
I SO BADLY want to play my ME3 again. Hell, the whole damn series. But I CAN'T.  It just upsets me.  I can't play them again until we get some sort of closure that shows us it wasn't for nothing.

Feel the same way.

If its all big troll and the ending is some sort of indoctrination dream, why wouldn't the real ending be in the game. Making us buy a DLC ending is extremly cheap. I'll say it though, I'd buy it, just to make the pain go away.

Not going to hold my breath. When I asked via tweet whether there is anything significantly different in terms of intro in the actual game (compared to demo), I was told that we will be surprised.

I was surprised, I guess...

If they truly had anything in the works to quell the anger of the community and their customers, it would have been in their best interests to come forth right away and speak to all of us. The silence speaks that they are in shock, have nothing planned, and are struggling to craft a statement and do some PR damage control, before they say or do anything. They did the same thing with DA2 when people were pissed, and this situation with ME3 is even worse. I really doubt Bioware will be a leading game developer and high end earning game company after the DA2, and now the ME3 fiasco's.

if you want your voice heard louder got to my blog which I have a link too in my Sig , click on my ME3 review and click on the links to my polls.

1. would you Boycott Bioware if they don't fix the endings
2. do you believe Multiplayer should have no impact on the single player campaign
3. Facebook Campaign demand better endings for ME3

I bet we're in for some great multiplayer DLC!

This was my first thought precisely.

Honestly, I think they're just stalling. I'm fairly sure they had nothing planned and are now trying to figure out how to deal with this situation. I don't know what they're hoping to achieve by dropping these "hints". Trolling us with the ending we got now "for the lulz" would be so mind-bogglingly stupid that my brain refuses to entertain the notion at all.

This tweet simply HAS to mean something:

The bottom one in the original post of this topic.

I refuse to believe it doesn't meant something will change.

I am pretty sure they're planning on not /changing/ the ending so much as adding more possible endings with DLC. I mean, if you've got new missions, it only makes sense that those missions would add new twists to the end-game, right? Especially given that, post-game, you're dumped to the point just before the Cerberus assault. They must mean for you to replay that part over and over again.
