Even if they release something... someone wrote it best on here earlier, that it's the equivalent of making customers pay for the Collector Base mission at the end of ME2. Bonus points for creative marketing if it is the king of all punks, but still... damn.

Seems pretty obvious to me what Bioware is doing. They accomplished the biggest troll in videogame history. Think about it, they reel you in, seemingly innocently with an amazing game. Then they lead you on until the last 5 minutes and then BAM! Biggest troll ever!
*le troll face*
An epic troll, 5 years in the making! They'll sing of this for centuries to come.
'cause the endings made me go like this, minus Garrus pillow.

That front picture is so dreamy. I chuckled, then I frowned and closed the tab in anger.

That would hurt sales.
I still have most of my trust in Bioware, but it really is teetering on the outcome of this whole mess. If we do have ending DLC, or something along those lines, I will continue to be a Bioware patron. But if it really does end like this, and they simply are referring to a Mass Effect sequel, I certainly won't be pleased

So, whatever they mean, it has nothing to do with ME3...

If they do... I mean, everything about this reminds me of the dad from Arrested Development, teaching his kids lesson through horrible pranks.

What on earth does that mean? This wait for a BW statement is a killer.

Well.. no, not really. That's not "all that means". Whoever's in control of that account is basically saying that the intense amount of angry reactions from fans would be different if people knew what was coming. Trust me, if that tweet is, as you are saying, just them being proud/excited over some ****ty extra DLC (Omega, MP, etc), then the ****storm would grow even larger and angrier in an instant.raeting wrote...
All that means is that they are very excited about the DLC they plan on releasing for ME3. Go back and look at Gamble's responses when people started asking about ending DLC. There's not much hope to be grabbed from his tweets.
Besides the fact he also retweeted an article in support of ME3's endings (and later deleted it).
Maybe they are thinking of putting something out there. But this isn't good proof.
Bioware isn't THAT dumb. They can't be.

You think this will help sales? I don't. Hell, even if I concede your idea: it will ultimately blow their brand to ashes to do something like this.DocStone wrote...

If this is reality, MassEffect needs to tweet like "the endings are canon, the decisions you made matter in our opinion, Shepard and his crew are as they are, it was real. Look forward to multi and ME4 with a different cast and enemy!" If we're getting something better, stop the jerking around and tell us "we will placate all the concerns eventually."
You are not looking at it from a marketing point of view - this is mana from heaven for Bioware, we the community are ramping up the hype and mystery and they are hitting all the news outlets.
the more I think about it, the more I see it as being genius!
"I swear, if they have something stored away, I will eat my words."
Everything they've ever said is a statement against the idea of anything beyond this game. I will regret nothing I said if something is coming, but I will be happy.
