 bioware may in  fact be pulling a inception on us

look at it like this what if shepard dreamed the relays blew up and the normandy crashed with everyone on it alive?

it would explain your 2 squadmates dead on earth and reapering on the normandy
he did have night mares about himself and the kid being on fire
