The ending is 5 friggin minutes of a 40 hour game people. Get over it. The game is very much worth replaying.

Such a disastrous 5 friggin minutes tho =P

Honestly, I'd rather watch Anders nuke sweet old church ladies for hours than suffer through those 5 minutes.

I started ... recruited Garrus and then felt too sad to continue.

I got the primarch onboard the Normandy, then I....

... I just couldn't do it any more. I tried, honestly, I tried to block out the ending, but nothing I did could bring back the joy of playing.

I tried a second playthrough, and made it all the way to Tuchanka. I really wanted to see if they'd fixed the Adept class, and I must say they have. It is once more effective and fun to play.

All that said, I've lost interest and put it down. I can't continue, knowing what awaits at the end. I figured I'd be glued to this thing for months, and I can't even go through a second time. To say that I'm extremely disappointed would be an understatement.

I really wanted to see what happened with my Male Shep and Liara, but that's what Youtube is for, and that's where I saw what I wanted to see, for the most part. I know, ultimately, the girl, the best bud, the father figure, and the whole f-ing galaxy are going to blow up in a red/blue/green space-magic storm, so what's the point? Shepard has finally met an enemy S/He can't overcome in the form of a translucent, glowing god-child VI.

Man, I'm getting pissed all over again. I'm gonna log off for a while. :/

The reapers are still stopped.

Just finished the Priority: Palavin mission acouple of hours ago. Normandy is hanging in orbit around Grissom Academy.
I have to force myself to play as I want to hit 4k+ EMS in singleplayer this time. Or atleast I hope to one day, but its just so damn depressing now...

It's been days since I first finished it. Thought I was feeling good enough to try a second playthrough. When I got to Mars I realized all I wanted was to see Liara again... can't bring myself to play any further now.

Started immediately after finishing, playing Insanity on my femshep infiltrator and just about to do Javik's recruitment.

It appears that I'm the only person in the world not completely depressed by the end.

My intention was to finally get my Shepard to level 60 in ME1 (4k short trolololol /wrist), enjoy the hell out of Mass Effect 2 and get moar Thane loving in, and then blitz the hell out of ME3.

As it stands, Mass Effect One is quietly wondering why I haven't picked it up from its lonely space on the cabinet.

0% complete, no plans to start a second playthrough in sight. Can't even bear to look at that desktop at the moment, silly as that sounds. Every time I do I get this little ache in my gut. I've been on my laptop ever since though. I should probably go apologize to my desktop, let it know I don't blame it for what happened.

Took me a couple of days to start a NG+ playthrough. About 1/3 way through now.

Made it bearable after it was explained Shepard probably didn't blow up every single star system along with the relays.

I ended up deleting my first play through and have stalled on the second sometime after Tuchanka... I don't see the point in playing anymore.

Last save was just before meeting for the conference, having completed all the side-quests available up to that point. And the only reason I may continue on is that I really love playing that character (assault rifle-wielding Sentinel). I doubt I'll play any of my other Shepards through ME3, unless BioWare....

I just got back on the Normandy after visiting the Ashley and the Council. I do intend to complete the second playthrough, but right now I can't bring msyelf to do it knowing that the end to everything is so... empty.

Yes, the cycle ends. But at the cost of every single thing you've built up during the entire saga. every releationship and alliance. Everything you fought for, everyone you fought with and everyone who fought for you. Leaving no closure, ryme or reason.

Blowing up the entire universe would stop them too

I won't play ME3 (or 1 or 2 again for that matter) unless they come out with a DLC that gives a better ending. As much as I loved playing through ME3, the end just ruins the whole thing for me.

I'm at Sur'Kesh. Have been there since the eighth

Edit: Should note I played ME2 10-20 times at the very least, and ME at least three times. :?
It's our offical theme song, boys and girls. :crying:

I haven't touched it, which is telling. When I first beat ME1 I immediately started a new career and went through again. When I beat ME2 I immediately started back at 1 and took a new career through both games. When I beat 3...meh. I can't find the energy to care anymore. None of it matters, all my choices will boil down to three almost identical options.

Everytime I try to start, I start thinking about if I should do THIS character, or THAT character. It'sthe same conflict I've had in all their games. I cant pick!

I've accepted that the ending sucks massively. I can live with a second playthrough, and just got got Garrus in it.

I'm still hoping for some DLC that has a real ending, but I'll be okay if there isn't any, if a little dead on the inside.

I really want to play my canon Femshep now, but I lack the motivation. All you work to accomplish is irrelevant.

You cure the genophage but the Krogan can't get back to Tuchanka. You make peace between the Quarians and Geth, Quarians are mere years from living without suits but they can't get back. What's the point?  Your friends and LI are dead or unable to ever see you again.  What are you working towards other than destroying everything you worked to achieve during this game and the other 2?
