I took a break for a day to kind of get my head on straight after that ending - but I've been taking it very slowly. I can't bring myself to play more than a priority mission and a couple sides at a time. I finished Sur'Kresh and left my game off in the middle of saving the Primarch's son.

I really want to play my canon Femshep now, but I lack the motivation. All you work to accomplish is irrelevant.

You cure the genophage but the Krogan can't get back to Tuchanka. You make peace between the Quarians and Geth, Quarians are mere years from living without suits but they can't get back. What's the point? What are you working towards other than destroying everything you worked to achieve during the game.

You are assuming that every single Krogan and every single Quarian in the galaxy was in the Sol System fighting the Reapers which simply wasn't the case.

The ending is 5 minutes that ruins the entire game. Get over it.

There, did that work on you? I mean, after all, I told you to get over it. Did you get over it and see my point of view? You didn't. Gee, I wonder why that doesn't work.

Actually I haven't finished my first Insanity playthrough. The very last fight was too tough for my build, weapons, and esp. squadmates. Therefore I would have redone that fight if not for the fact that I lowered difficulty just so I could see the ending .... Now it looks like there's a good chance that I'll NEVER finish my insanity playthough properly.

I am at the very first player controlled moment. That was when I was struck with something akin to depression and turned it off. I then tried multiplayer and had my worst ever match, then booted up my as yet unplayed Batman: AC and couldn't even get myself interested in that.

I hope this goes away.

I got past mars and stopped. Been there since friday. Blah.

edit: This hasn't just affected my Mass Effect interest, it's messed with my interest in gaming overall. I hope it goes away as well.

Same here. I started because I'm level 57 and I'm a completionist and can't stand not being at 60... but couldn't even start after the initial FMV. I just turned it off. Compare that to ME1 which didn't leave my Xbox for two months as I played it 6 times across 4 different classes, or ME2 that I played 4 times across 2 classes. I don't even want to play single player again in ME3 until/unless there's a better ending released.

In all honesty, I don't even want to play multiplayer right now. Even looking at multiplayer makes me depressed.

So I put in Major League Baseball 2K12.
Sigh.

That reminds me to make the Reaper foghorn the ringtone for the ex-wife, about time the Imperial march was replaced by something more appropriate.

I only started a second playthrough (and did so on narrative combat difficulty) because the original Turian councillor died for my first character and I wanted to see if he had any *ahem* extra dialogue. He didn't.

So that's where I am now.

Maybe with a new DLC - for now just going to do my last missing achievements and then stop.

The ending wouldn't be so bad with a few changes.
Just let the Normandy and Shepard be united after it's all over and I would be fine with it.
That would be enough happy ending for me.

Haven't started one yet, and when I do I need to make sure I do Project Overlord on my main Shep (I forgot I only did it on my second character who has not finished ME2 yet). I'll have to just do another import rather than a New Game + but maybe they'll have the face import fixed by then.

Back to Minecraft and Kingdoms of Amalur for now.

2nd PT (renegade vanguard) , finished the missions on Tuchanka... however still realing over the ending from my 1st (main shep) PT, so I have been taking breaks. Haven't decided if I'm gonna give the MP a try yet, maybe on the 3rd PT.

About to start tuchanka. I`m able to do it because I`m lying to myself about the endings. I just keep whispering to my head that DLC with an amazing ending will be ready by the end of my second playthrough.

No it isn't. Why play again making different choices if none of them will be seen to, or even matter?

Not playing it again.

Part of the reason is what IrishRents said above me.

I'm hanging on to the belief that BioWare actually intended to have some kind of change or addition to the endings, and that the existing endings are part of some hallucination (or indoctrination influenced hallucination) and will be announcing endings DLC soon.

With that hope, I think I'll be able to start a second playthrough, but I won't be nearly as emotionally engaged, and I won't be playing it a ton like before--I'll be taking lengthy breaks, except for the MP.

Can't do it. The endings ruin the pleasure of all ME games. Just can't without hearing a tiny voice telling me "in the end it all comes to a shiny god midget" in my head

I think Queen had a song that rings close to my thoughts.

Nothing really matters. Nothing really matters tooooo Bioware. *Piano*

I just finished up Menae. Funny thing is, I'm not really playing slowly because of depression or anything like that; I just can't keep myself from alt-tabbing out of the game and checking in on the BSN to see what the latest news is.

just started mine, skipped lots of the first cinematic, tried to kill the child xD, stopped playing after visiting memorial hospital. I don't have any desire to increase my war assets, its just feel like playing the demo and waiting for the real game :S

I completed the game Saturday night, whilst fighting a relatively nasty case of the flu (I wasn't under any medication at the time, though in retrospect, after seeing the ending, I wish I was).  To put succintly, I was quite disappointed.

I mulled over doing a second playthrough, but after seeing the ending I got, and the other endings from Youtube, and reading these forums, etc., I decided 'What's the point?  All those decisions my characters have made since Joker jumped the Normandy SR-1 to Eden Prime don't amount to a damn thing at the end...'.

I not only uninstalled ME3 from my PC, but ME1 and ME2 as well (though I did keep my savegames; hopefully, I'll be able to use them again someday, but at this point I'm not holding my breath).

People are hurt and dissapointed to such an extent we can't bring ourselves to replay it, some at all - others for a few hours then quit...

What have you done Bioware.... what have you done.... 5 minutes of ending ruined 5 years of gaming....
