BioWare is aware of the cheating that is occurring in multiplayer. We believe our multiplayer mode is a valuable addition for our fans, and we hope you are having just as much fun as we are while playing co-op with
your friends.

For our fans, we acknowledge that some people are cheating. We are actively monitoring server logs since the Demo of Mass Effect 3 and when we find obvious signs of cheating, we are acting against those individuals. Our focus is to remove the type of cheating that is detrimental to the honest fans.

To some of you, it may appear that we are not doing anything against the cheaters. This is not true. However, we are being careful to ensure that the individuals flagged as cheaters are clearly and repeatedly cheating. We do not want to act against honest people.

If you feel your experience has been affected by playing with a cheater, please send us a message at me3mpcheaters@bioware.com. Please also add the Origin ID/Gamertag/PSN ID of the supposed cheater
along with the time of your match(es) with him and why you think this user has been cheating.

If you feel you have been reprimanded incorrectly or wish to appeal any action against your account please send us a message at me3accountadmin@bioware.com.

We appreciate you help and patience with this matter.

I would suggest inspecting some of the people on the top of the Leaderboards. I got a Rating of 197 and am playing since the 5th March all day long (haven't touched the singleplayer). Yesterday on the Polish Leaderboards for PC the first guy was around 260 (today he's ~300) - I'm pretty sure he is legit, 'cause I've been watching he's progression constanlty.

having that in mind someone new appeared on the top with a whopping N7 Rating of around 1100. Overnight. Unless he spent over 500$ buying packs with Bioware Points there no way he did not cheat. He would probably would have to spend at least 30 hours clicking on Spectre Packs and Promoting his characters time after time.

Considering that three or four last levels of a class require 500k xp per level and the highest xp u can find in a Spectre pack is +100k xp do the math. I think it's possible by now to have a Rating of +500 if u spent some money AND played all the time. If u just played all the time around 350. Had I promoted every time I'd probably would also be close to 350. But who really does that - most of the "normal" players want to enjoy some Gold matches with their 20lvl characters for a bit.

Keep in mind the game has been out for less than ten days... After a month the line will get real blurry. I'd investigate now. I hope there are other methods the devs have at their disposal as well (logs etc.)

On a side note about 5 days after the release one of such players joined my lobby and I politely asked him how in the world does he have N7360 and TWO ultra-rare weapons of level 10. I asked that he leaves if there is no reasonable explanation which he did immediately.

Hi Diablerist666,

Please send us an email to me3mpcheaters@bioware.com. with the Origin ID/Gamertag/PSN ID of the supposed cheaters.

Hey everyone,

I see a lot of people asking "is x considered cheating" or "will I get banned for x" - A good rule of thumb is if you question the legitimacy (and intention) of something then it is probably against the rules. We have different ways of dealing with different types of offences (including severity of said offence).

If you have any questions feel free to PM me/post them here and I'll get to them as soon as possible.

Regards,

Thomas Abram

Tell me if this guy (vlaras N7-20) is not cheating.  I have a N7 rating of +1100 and I don't have his weapons that high.

I think I will just start posting thier Name and picture of the gear here, along with an email telling them I reported them.

the only people who are pathetic are peope who are bothered in other people business. also majority have more then likely done it wether they admiting it or not is a other thing. Also the reason why there doing nothing to people because if they did they woud have to ban most players.

The more I read the more I, "what..."

You're welcome to voice your opinion on things as long as you're not insulting anyone in the process. This is a violation of BSN rules.

I've got a question regarding hacks you've seen because I want to make sure I'm not just reporting someone who is good but didn't actually cheat.

I just wanted to do the obligatory Silver match for this weekend event and from the beginning on, I felt my Claymore packed quite a punch. (I mean even more than what is usual.) Then I noticed this:

The guy I'm talking about was using a Vorcha as well, only difference was that his Phalanx was even deadlier than my Claymore, which can be seen here: (he pretty much saturated the killfeed with it)

Posted Image

Last but not least, the scoreboard in wave 7 (after which I quit the game)

Me and another guy had an N7 around 800, one was well above 1k and then there was another dude with N7 ~100, I can't really remember which one was which, but their builds all looked just fine, so my question: Is this possible by skill and the Claymore thing was just lag or a glitch? Or is there only one explanation for it, i.e. that the guy cheated?

In cases of uncertainty you should e-mail me3mpcheaters@bioware.com - We investigate every possible case and do not reprimand players without concrete evidence.

OK. I think I came across my first cheater. Would like your recommendations first before I report. The player was using a Krysae Sniper Rifle X on Gold. Whenever a kill was made it showed Missile Launcher instead. After the Gold match was finished he had well over 300k points.

Think its a cheat?

Definitely a cheater. Send 'em to me3mpcheaters@bioware.com :)

if you dont like me complaining about people reporting cheaters. ignore it. its as simple as that

It seems like nobody's going to ignore anything, then.

We're still going to report people- and you're still going to complain about it. Because neither of us can ignore it, and you're just as "bad" as us for not being able to ignore something you don't like. C'est la vie, huh~?

you are really starting to annoy me. ur are very ignorant because i really dont care about what you have to say. the thing is you keep responding to my comments. are you really that bored? it's called a gf what guys have when they are sick of video games -_- don't respond back ur just going to come off as stupid

This made me laugh then I clicked the little hammer button next to your name.

Keep within this threads pricipal idea and stay away from calling each other out please.

Edit: Let me extend your vacation a little bit. I didn't see what you posted on this page! Also, I would kill to be 9 again so I could play video games all day.
