Don't forget idspispopd, heck even Konami Code. Cause obviously neither was a 'cheat code' since they weren't against real people right?!

Why would you really care if there was a cheater? free moneyz.
Whats the point in playing a game then? Watch a movie, you get to see the ending and have it all done for you too!
Whats the point of playing a game? Getting to interact and be part of said game, if you're with someone who 1 shot kills everything nonstop are you really playing the game or just a spectator? Did you EARN anything? Did you even truly participate?

Also, there seems to be no point in cheating in a stripped down horde mode, I mean, once they unlock everything what do they think they'll do?

If you wanna know who these guys are, just check out the top of global N7 rating leaderboards. I mean, I don't want to unjustly blame anyone, but the multiplayer is not that much fun to get thousands (or even hundreds of thousand in one case) N7 ratings just a few weeks after the game's release - let aside if it is even possible.

I honestly don't get the point, sure I saw a lot of cheaters in SWTOR, but that was mostly because some judt don't like to lose vs other players. Here its coop play only.
Also, theres guys at the top of the table that are literally thousands ahead of the pack, thry surely see how much they stand out ?

Also, that DarkSlavery guy is now 5th - there's people with N7 ranking of over 9,000. (I'm not joking, despite the meme).

also rank x ultra rares and only lvl3 amps equipped while waiting in the lobby kinda seems like a dump attempt to hide cheating... also i dont know if i'm supposted to post his origins name here... if a mod is reading this i'll gladly give out his name

The only way I can see people cheating is if they get a ridiculous amount of credits for the Spectre Pack and didn't do anything.

Also encountering quite a few players who have no CDs at all. Like one Winfiltrator was carrying a Widow + Geth shot gun and I watched this guy while dead: he was invisible 99% the time. Also was invincible.
Sorry, I will never support cheaters in any ONLINE game no matter if it's PvP or not. Basically, BW is selling stuff for RL money and cheaters get it for free. It boggles my mind there is absolutely zero cheat detection in this game. I expect it will be hackerfest galore in a few months unless things change.

yeah today I played on gold for the first time. I thought that I played with some pr0 playaz but then on the 9th wave I suddently got 999 rounds for my phalax. Then I realized that they're not pr0 but they were using cheats, brutes killed by one wrap, unlimited ammo and so.
Yup Ive seen this twice so far, this seems to be caused by a "leader" the person who creates the game and has some of his files manualy changed to make the game ridiculously easy.. -.-

No idea about mods, but I have seen some very peculiar idlers, sitting in specific corners with mobs running right past them. Don't ask me how they do it, though I do have some theories. So basically: they're idling, and mobs don't target them.Sora Kitano wrote...
I am curious as to what sort of cheating that is going on.
The only form of "cheating" that could be of any harm to the players is having Idlers standing around and gaining XP/Credits they did nothing to earn. Otherwise there is nothing that is overly harmful to ME3's MP going on.
Usually I would rage if knowing if someone was using something such as illegal console mods to get an edge, but since there is no PVP, nor will there ever be any if Bioware hasnt made another attempt to make misleading comments, I see no harm in even those being used.
Disclaimer: I do not in any circumstance advocate the use of mods or any other means of cheating in any video game and those that wish to use them should do so knowing they are at risk of having their console banned if caught.

Playing solo it's harder.. Also of note is cloaking, foes will continue to shoot the last spot they detected you from.
However be careful of thinking someone is idling, they may be low on health and facing creatures that they can't take down alone.. Not often does this happen, unless gold, but a lone character road blocking a large group is still effective as a team mate.

saw a guy killing brutes with 1 shot from the M-3 whatever (starting pistol)!! he was also killing 3-4 enemies with 1 shot. we also couldn't reload ammo from the boxes, not sure if that was intentional or just a side effect of his cheating.
same! i had a game 2 days ago like that but it wasn't just 1 guy, it was the whole game. Every one was able to kill everything with 1 bullet, as long as it was down to just the health bar. Armor, shields, and barriers were acting as normal however.
It was as if every mob had 1 hp honestly.
Occaisionally, I'd notice my ammo jump from the normal max aloted amount to 900+ rounds. Needless to say, it was pretty stupid to play in. 2 people left after round 4, and I eventually left after round 6. It felt dirty and cheap.

I played a game with a level 600+ guy - he was swearing a lot and we lost
Just now i jumped in the Gold game on last few waves with some 50+ level guy and he killed everything literally with 2 shots. So not all of the higher level people actually cheat. I do regret purchasing 20 bucks worth of bioware points after i met this guy however.

But never the less cheating is cheating no matter what context it comes in line with and should not be tolerated.

I just hope that the Xbox 360 version of the multiplayer hasn't become infested with cheaters since it's bad enough that people are cheating on the PC version without them ruining the Xbox 360 version's multiplayer as well.
