It's about challenging your own abilities, not winning per se. And yes it has to do with morality, just like in competitive sports some people take drugs to win and others don't. For some it's about a good challenge and a hard earned win, for others it's just winning at all costs...T1l wrote...

I disagree. This isn't about right and wrong; this is about human beings finding the path of least resistance to a goal.
People exploit and cheat because they can. They do not set out with the goal of cheating; they set out with the goal of winning. This is the easiest path to their goal. This has nothing to do with morality.
