I was a victim of a cheater yesterday. I noticed that when I got 3000000 credits at the end of the match!
Unfortunately I couldn't identify the cheater 100%. I immediately left the lobby and the game and wrote an email to bioware. I haven't and I won't use any of the credits, but I am really afraid of getting banned . Are there any further things that I could do? I just hope that Bioware deletes everything that i earned during this match. How long will it approximately take Bioware to do something or answer?

I'm in the same situation than you. I'm a vicitm also of a cheater that got me 7,5 million at the end of the match. I've reported march 24. No answer yet. I still have the credits in my account. I have also contacted EA support (case #03460454), they told me they can do nothing. They told me to report on this forum (what I did couple days ago) . Good news I suppose, I'm not banned/reset. But I hope they will do something about this.

Why is the creator of a match hosting the game ? If the host quits then the game will automatically select a new host. Why not do that from the first place ? Select the host from the 3 other players those did not create the match. Of course, it wouldn't prevent cheating. A cheater would only require a little luck to become a host.

I came across another speedhack / weapon rate-of-fire hacker. It was ridiculous seeing a soldier whizz across the screen while unleashing a barrage of rounds.... from a Mantis.

I've reported him, but I like to name and shame cheaters.

well does bioware banning players or not? Like for using cheat engine to hack credits because its seem quite unfair to other players..

Just had some human vanguard with like 30k more points than everyone else, shooting swarmers with one perfect shot with the pistol every time (and yup was host). The guy never seemed to die either, considering he was running into groups of brutes/ravagers and marauders spamming Nova..

The most annoying cheates ive come across are the characters with geth shotgun and mantis both equipped who are "somehow" still able to spam powers all over :S

This might have already been bought up, but there needs to be a feature to kick idlers.
IMO, someone joining a game and then going afk to earn free rewards is so much more infuriating than hackers.

Speed hack? Cheating must be only occuring with pc users within pc servers.

so i think i was in a game with a cheater just now. the enemies were spawning weird (all-husk wave, mixed types etc) and the credit was 70k on bronze. i didn't take a screenshot (it was fullscreen and fraps wasn't running) nor the host's id (wasn't really sober but that's another story).

what now? do i HAVE to go through all the troubles of making a report for this measly 70k? can't an honest customer just go on playing without hassle?

just joined a game...Firebase Ghost vs CERBERUS on Silver. We had BRUTES in the first wave and GETH TROOPERS in the second...at first I though it's a bug/glitch or something but then I noticed I have 62 ammo instead of the usual 32, and I quit immediately.
the ammon is common cheating...but the brutes and geth troopers?? why would people even do that...

I think hchadw makes a good point! i absolutely hate when somebody swears all over my speakers when i play! and the chat must be added as well! otherwise me3's multiplayer rocks!!!!

Just reported a cheater on the 360. First wave retrieve prothean artifact mission, enemies were Geth but pressing start said Bronze Reapers. The enemies were massive amounts of geth pyros, geth hunters, and some soldiers. No primes.

It was wave 11 as the first wave. Just me and one other player so... cheater spotted. Oh..and when he killed the last enemy the round ended.

Match played at noon PST March 31st. MessyKiller 629 was the host.

This needs to be the Ta Fix list:

No Text Chat (cant type in a multiplayer game... WHAT) And if you do this dont mess up like Battlefield 3 did and put the chat all in your Face ... nice cosy spot in the upper left hand of the screen would be nice

No Mute Options (cant mute the guy blasting gansta rap or calling everyone on the team Fing Noobs)

No In-Game Buddy System (have to use a forum/Origin to find friends while other EA titles like Battlefield have a
buddy Chat system)

No- Anticheat detection (Active scan for Expliots/Hax/Weapon Mods Edited INI values with CVar checks ETC)

Needs PVP as well. (We have fought your AI for 3 Games LET US FIGHT EACH OTHER NOW!!!!!)

This game has the best, complex, and most comprehensible combat system i have ever seen. I love it ... which is why i dont wanna see it die............................................................the REAPERS CANT HAVE MY GAME!!!!!!!!

I agree with everything you have said in this forum. Do you play on a Playstation or Xbox console?

The only reason EA care about cheating is because it costs them $$$ from their disgusting card game. Remove the random card BS and all of a sudden cheating becomes irrelevant.

As for people modding the game so the waves become more interesting... I say take what they are doing onboard and include it.

If someone is modding the game to get different types of enemies... thats a feature that Bioware should obviously include. Would be hilarious to have swarm maps where you get nothing but legions of husks etc. in a last man standing situation.

..aaaaaaaaand yet another. I start the game with about 4-5k credits. End with over 15 million. E-mailed the cheater address, but didn't have much info because the host left at the end and I don't recall the name.



....and origin Online help is not helpful. Tell them exactly what happened and I get: "Could you please elaborate your issue more clearly?"
