PVP is where real skill is at... Not taking down a dumb bot that can get lured into areas of the map and get stuck to get raped.

Yes, 4v4 would be so fun...get hit by warp, get hit by throw, dead.   With the current state of HP/Shields 4v4 would NOT work, you'd need to buff them to hell or lower the damage on ALL abilities and weapons MASSIVLY.  People would be loathe to ever leave cover.

still not even worth ppl cheating for stats as N7 points are the only thigsn recorded, it would probably be a more seriious problem if it was like BF2 etc which recorded tons of stats that cheating ppl could "show off" with.  Even then the stats we do have, N7 points, imho dont mean squat, im 1 of the ones staying at 120 with zero plans to change that, im sure others are the same, i dont even look at the leaderboards, theres no point, its not like high rank = skilled players.

no, bronze rounds have a set amount of XP, regardless of how many players are there.

it's part of the reason why i find people that complain about having kills taken from them, or someone playing better than they are, so funny.

it doesn't matter one bit.   there is no kill/death ratio in this game.
everyone gets the same exp based on *surviving*, not *killing as much as they can*.
there is no kill count (other than the 5000 kills achievement).

it's pointless to complain about!

if you are a very competitive person, and the end score is important to you (the CoD-syndrome), then change class/abilities/weapons until you are the best.

i agree that it doesn't equate to skills at all.
i played a game with someone with a 1300 N7 rating and he was 3rd overall in total points.

i don't think he was even trying, and quite frankly, i don't blame him.

you might get kicked from a few games, but that's only if the other people realize what you are doing, and only after the game has ended.

i like to promote my characters as it helps marginally when i decide to play the SP.    (despite the obscene amount of vitriol spewed about the ending, i still realize it's a game, not reality, and have been disappointed enough with some of the continuity problems already established in the ME universe)
yes, that's right - i have only played multiplayer since the game was released.
i just love it.   promoting also gives me a chance to try out different builds without having to use a reset powers card (i have about ~15-20 of them now), and it only takes a few hours to get one to 20.

That's not hacking, it's a glitch. The guy was most likely a Vanguard. When you biotic charge too much this tends to happen and you end up flying out of the map and not being able to come back. If this happens on a map other then White or Ghost (which they fixed from the demo) then your shields will instantly regenerate. I've had this happen to me a bunch of times and I've seen it happen a bunch of times to people mainly playing on Firebase Giant. Vanguards do not work well on that map.

Getting kicked from the EA servers was just a coincidence. It's happened to me 3 or 5 times now mid game and it's really annoying. It's happened to me at Wave 10 of gold right after getting the credits... So I ended up with nothing.

Well unless players can hack their n7 rating, the rating system is kinda good for something.

Suppose a N7-rated 20 player joins a Silver pug and scores 120k. Sure, there are loads of players who stick to their one class and rock everyone's socks with it.

But N7 can give you a general idea how long someone's been playing the game.

I find it crazy how some people on the leaderboards I see moving up 200-300 levels a day. I play this game A LOT and I pretty much only play on Gold. I promote as soon as I reach 20. I can't come close to 200-300 levels a day. I can only pull off 60-70. Makes you think something fishy is going on.

But if you can in fact credit glitch and earn massive amounts of credits this can make you jump up in your N7 Rating quickly due to the character training you can get in your Spectre/Veteran/Recruit packs.

Same. I can only pull off 60-70. I have played with the #2 player on Xbox and he seems legit though. He could be glitching on the side but I doubt it. It's possible the other N7 2000+ players are glitching though.

sounds like games done in 15 mins using moddded weapons to just blow right threw them

you have toplay what, 8 or more games on gold to hit 20 and that takes time

i raised my N7 rating to 700 and it was worth it from SP perspective. galaxy at war always 100% and from N7 special ops, it is now 1250 worth of readiness. playing 2nd time SP on insanity and never worried abt "wrong" decision

for MP, i find it almost impossible to finish GOLD unless we have a good teamwork - i.e. no solo player heading off on his/her own, dying, and the teammates eventually died also in the process of reviving ! majority of my xp comes from silver games

I just finished a game. A player by the name of "fathertroy" was using a Mantis Hack. His Mantis basically shoots like an assault rifle. =S

And more embarrassingly, he was only 2nd highest even with the hack. Losing to me

Just played a match where my level 6 Engineer could kill Brutes with a single Energy Drain (Rank 2) on Bronze. Every single enemy could be dropped in 1-5  seconds without help...

I do believe the offending player [host] was Erebus333.  Just for people to keep an eye out.

 Just had a game with host: TheDestroyeR_AT. His shuriken and shockwave (vanguard) oneshot everything. Fastest gold run i have ever done....

It's the second time that I promote a character and when I use it again at level one all powers are exactly as they were at level 20 before promoting and there is a negative value of points...

Im H20 VxDAMAGExV 1700+N7 u may complain about how the high levels play there game, its not that we dont try we just play more conservitive. i play silver to restock my items for gold later on that night, You'l never see me rush the enemy but chances of you seeing me win the game for u r high. lots of player try to compete with us it DOSN'T MATTER go ahead kill fast then me it makes the game go faster and we get our xp and creds faster. Instead of looking for what im shooting at u should be looking for whats shooting at me not trying too kill my target, TEAM WORK fellas not CHARGE!!!!! and die then get mad cause we dont pick u up, just because you made a bad choice dosnt mean ur team has too. play smarter fellas there's a reason for the way we play. just ask us, some will not be nice but if you run into me just ask and i will answer any question u have, have fun fellas.

 soldier class can double fire with a mantis or widow with adrenaline rush, it auto reloads without the animation( fire Y fire) not a hack.

Just get to level 20 again. It's a glitch, I have the same problem for two of my classes, but I'm just leveling them back up to 20, at which point there are 0 points instead of negatives.

I never really thought much about that, since for most enemies you whittle down you get more assistance points than they get kill points, since you did the most work.

not likely considering even on bronze the prime shields are the same strength from full shield to little shield they dont get softer the more damage they take. Some one els most have shot at the same time or a little bit after for it to look like it, even with a widow X and  sniper amp 3 with peircing mod and amor peiring round stiil takes 2 shots one for the sheild and one right in the lights to take its head off from a cloaked infiltrater.
