i got a question to Bio about what can be considered to be against the rules

If a player starts gold runs as host and Leaves at round 11 forcing a restart and is known to be doing this constantly with a number of different players over a short period of time (say 2 hours worth so its not the host D/Cing). Is this an offense?

I don't really see why someone would play through 10 whole rounds and then quit, much less do this constantly.  Also don't see how that could be considered cheating at all.  Besides, its only a wave restart and not the entire match which shouldn't be that big of a deal as long as no one else leaves during host migration, neh?

Because if that person leaves during Wave 10, not 11.  Then it restarts the wave.  That person jumps back in on wave 10 which is the final "objective".  Then when they complete the objective it gives them the 73k in money again, guy hops out, back in, 5 minutes later 73k, rinse and repeat.  I saw this on another section of the forum.  It's stupid, but I'm pretty sure I know how somebody figured it out.

With my level 20 characters I don't need the XP so after completing the level 10 objective and getting the money we usually just suicide rather than waste time with level 11 and extraction.  We come out, get the money, go back in.  So I assume that someone prematurely left onetime and people got money a second time and went... "Hey check this out".

It should be an easy patch.  Just change it to the extraction is required before any XP or Credits are awarded.

Great fix, now when I get disconnected in wave 10 or extraction I don't have to go through the hassle of spending the credits I just spent 20-30 minutes earning.  Makes things easier going into the next game, as I won't be able to go to the store to purchase the equipment that was most likely used for no benefit.  That will speed up lobby time.  Good fix.

Why fix the glitch when you can just rip honest players who get DCed off?  LOL

Oh, guess I read that wrong and took it as them leaving during wave 11.

Also, I wish I could like InfamousResult's last few posts...  Personally though, it seems that other guy is so stuck on making his cheating sound legit to make themselves feel better that there is no point in arguing with them.

I can understand why he's TRYING to defend himself- he's been cheating so much, he knows that if it actually IS against the rules, he's screwed. I've given up trying to convince him otherwise, though, so I'm just going to tell people not to listen to him.. Then, hopefully, he won't drag anybody down with him.

Yeah, because EA/Bio are just banhammering soooooo many players....O wait.   0.   zero players banned for exploiting/glitching.   Why try to convince you with sound logic and reason,  you obviously wish only to throw stones and accuse innocent consumers of dishonesty.  That is just wrong and socially irresponsible.

I personally don't utilize the glitch for your information.  I play with most of the top 20 on LIVE and we run RANDOM/RANDOM for the most part.  You don't need to take my word for it, pm any of them and they will tell you, so you are dead wrong.

Just because I have an opinion on the matter does not mean I participate in said action.   Too often you see trolls like yourself who's only mission is to inflame, incite or otherwise ****** off people with legitimate viewpoints.    Your argument was weak and it has been debunked.  get over it and bow out of the converation gracefully, instead of making personal attacks on me.

No it isn't.

You said, as a stated fact, that 0 people have been banned. That's YOUR burden of proof. Where did you read that? Are you just assuming nobody's been banned because they haven't come crying on the forum? Or do you think Bioware is going to announce how many people they ban each day?

In response to your claim that they are FOR SURE banning people for YOUR interpretation of a loosely worded provision.  I don't need to prove my claim, as you offered up none for yours.   You are fearmongering and polluting an otherwise cut and dry interpretation of said guideline.  Stop while you are behind

I said they will get banned. And they will, because it's against the rules. I never claimed that people HAVE been banned, though- you lied, and put words in my mouth. But YOU just said that people HAVEN'T been banned.

So prove it. Burden's on you.

I'm not the one making outrageous claims against paying customers.  You are SPECULATING.   If Bioware was banning players the Forum would be a HOTBED.   It's not.   You are wrong and your assertion was based on BS and your own lack of understanding of legal documents.  LOL

Why?

If players are banned from ME3 Multiplayer, why do you think they'd still have access to the forums that are ONLY accessible when you have ME3 Multiplayer? Those people obviously don't care enough to actually PLAY the game- they'd probably just end up throwing a quiet hissy fit for a day, and then playing something else.

Yeah you are probably right.  All those banned players probably have no way of expressing their frustration or care enough to do so.  Sounds about right.  LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.   If you believe that then you obviously have no grasp on reality.  LOL.   That was rich!

It's simple.  If Bioware was banning for this, then they would have made some thread or another saying something like "If it is shown that you exploited the 10th round credit glitch, then you will be banned.
Seems the ONLY people threatening bans are butt hurt kids jealous of other players for being more savvy than you.  Give it up kid.  You are dead wrong.

How do you suggest they express their frustration? On the forum? They'd be banned. They'd have to buy an Online Pass all over again, just to come on here and throw a tantrum.

Friends, brother, sister, cousin, uncle, different gamertags, new account .   LOL at your naive outlook on this issue.   Must be tough to move around with those blinders on all the time.

So somebody spends $70+ dollars on a game and gets trivially banned, and you think 10 bucks is too much for him to get even?   You have zero understanding of human nature, but I we hardly needed that last post to see that.  LOL

It's kind of amusing that you call me a troll, and then you go out of your way to insult me. Then you're going to pretend that just because you would be immature enough to spend another $15 just to come back and insult Bioware for banning you for breaking the rules, obviously that means everybody else is like you and would do the same thing.

Anyway- nobody listen to him. You all have enough common sense to see that this guy is wrong. Go about your business of playing the game normally.

You have yet to prove that any of what you are saying is a violation of any rule.  Therefore ANY facet of your argument based on that is INCORRECT.   That simple.  Nowhere in the wording of the user agreement even uses the word "rule".  That is YOUR word.  Stop feeding disinformation into the community, it's very counter-productive to intelligent discussion.

BTW, pointing out naivete is hardly an insult.  It's an observation.

I think cheating in a COOP MP is lame. However, considering EA/Bioware's laters screw-ups and the lack of compensation for all the credits lost due to store/Server/MP glitches plus the uselessness of their so called "help line", cheating doesn't look so bad anymore.

I mean, Are they going to reimburse for the lost time/items/credits? I rather doubt that.....

That's an entirely separate thread of discussion. I agree that they should reimburse players for lost items and credits- not really lost time, since this isn't a pay per day service, and you still have the game when they fix the servers- but it does not give any player a right to cheat, in any way, regardless.

I couldn't agree with you more.  CHEATING is wrong.   Glitching is not cheating, and nowhere in the EULA does it make that correlation.  As a matter of fact the word cheat or cheating does not even APPEAR.   That correlation was made HERE in these forums by people not employed by EA or Bioware.   You have misinterpreted a very deliberataly worded provision to suit your poor argument.   It is just silly.  The words are right there in front of you and you choose to ignore it.    you MAY be in violation.....at the SOLE discretion of EA.  Argument done.  That is directly from EA.   It is not for you ar anyone else in this community to rewrite MY EULA.  Stop flaming people that EA has not found in violation of ANY STATED RULE.
