My previous post had no mention of the credit glitch. You're still trying to drag that out, huh?
All your previous posts mention it so it's par for the course, especially within the same thread.
This issue has been "dragging out" since the game released broken and remains broken. The idea that Bioware is going to ban THOUSANDS of it's community for pissing you and a few others off is ridiculous. They are complicit. We know it. They know it. Their marketing team know it. Their public relations department know it. Banning would be the nail in the MP coffin of ME3. That is why the provision you refer to is worded the way it is. They are not in the business of writing language into their EULA that would prevent the consumer from using their product. It is meant to protect them and their parent companies from class action lawsuits, NOT TO MEDIATE ONLINE PLAY. You are taking it out of context and you are polluting the issue when you lump GLITCHES in with CHEATING. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME.

This is a fun forum. I have had fun reading all this. Random, forget trying to get through to him you cant. Rayyel, Why do you even care? if they are not doing it in your game and you are not playing with this person then what does it matter. to you? It does not effect your gameplay in anyway. Ok Bioware may ban people for using it or they may not however I played a few mmo games in my life and 1 things developers hate and have banned people for is false info and accusations. You cannot tell people what will happen to them unless you actually know. You are creating a problem without their actually being one.
Right?

"But unless they actually post and SAY that I shouldn't tell people they'll be banned, then it's okay for me to!"
Insert laughter.
But no, I'll be up front and retract my previous statement. I do not KNOW that any bans will be handed out, and to be perfectly honest, I do not think they will- although I do not retract my opinion that they are DESERVED. I do, however, believe that a more realistic punishment, such as wiping the offending players' inventories, should Bioware choose to take action, is more likely. Same thing that Bungie did with Halo: Reach players.

I wasn't aware soloing a Gold match was considering "exploiting" or "cheating"...is it? I know I'm probably missing something here...please enlighten me

I think he's referring to the part where the ONLY enemy that was spawning in the game were Husks.
I'm not sure if it's a cheat or a bug, but it sure isn't normal game behavior.

Cheating in ME3 MP is only happening when the player that wants to cheat is hosting the game... and this works because all files are kept on the host's computer, mainly the Coalesced.bin file which can be edited. Easiest cheat is having infinite ammo and no reloading... this will cause any sniper rifle to shoot like a gun since there will be no need for reloading.
This cheat is probably the easiest of them all:
ammopershot=1 to ammopershot='''0'''
This means you use no ammo and therefore no reloading, you can go trigger happy. This affects all weapons and is so damn easy to do. This will also be seen straight away. Any more subtle cheats like massive damage for a particular weapon… which only the host will use will also be pretty easy to spot.
Someone playing the SP may forget that they are using a modified Coalesced.bin file when going to play Multiplayer. Hell most people won’t even think that modifying a game file will affect online gameplay. Who would? Seriously? If they don’t realise they may even think it is a funny bug. I would suggest you first say something in chat and see if they abandon the game which means no credits and no XP is earned, if not then report them. The techs will check the logs and see if that person was monkeying around or not.
On the other hand anyone getting 1 mill credits or massive XP is deliberately cheating and should be banned. You don’t need to change that for SP… let’s be honest as the goals are only for MP and the XP/Credits you receive at the end have nothing to do with SP gameplay.

It happens every now and then, specially if someone gets grabbed and a vanguard does a charge, it wills top the 1 hit kill. However if you saw her hand go through and the guy was still standing... then NO... eh was cheating. Also how do you know how many gels he had? Did he died 10 times and revived 10 times by himself? No end of wave revive... no revive from team member?

Yup. He was reviving himself for like five times or so in one wave and i sow a few more before that.
I was in spectator mode watching what was he doing. (after a banshee ripped my guts out

There are a few times too that an enemy can actually kill the person in the grab before the Banshee's arm is thrusted through the gut. If that happens, they can still be brought back after they are dropped by the Banshee.haruki61 wrote...

They did nothing from start to our death, myself (H Engie) and my partner ( S Engie) held well enough for 4 waves but really, it would be nice to be able to kick afkers or report them or something, it ruins the game to have such trash just being there doing nothing .

I played one match after purchases to try out a new species and gun I got, then I was kicked from the multi servers during menu changes.
I have 0 faith in EA to enforce anit-hacking policies and I fear that if they DO try to do something about it, It would be guess work that would have me banned for such a large spending spree as well.

Only if she's killed during the grab, or the Lag is epic bad.

I see a lot of people asking "is x considered cheating" or "will I get banned for x" - A good rule of thumb is if you question the legitimacy (and intention) of something then it is probably against the rules. We have different ways of dealing with different types of offences (including severity of said offence).
If you have any questions feel free to PM me/post them here and I'll get to them as soon as possible.

^ yes I have seen that happen a few times - Banshee is low on armor and you claymore them when she lifts a guy up and you can revive him. Also I assume the guy with 10 revives is on PC - don't konw how you would do something like that on xbox ( which I play ).Adverb wrote...

Last night I got invited to a game and in the lobby the guys ask if I am interested in doing the Credit Glitch ( die on wave 10 etc ) and so I say no, its not my thing. Bioware should fix this glitch. I don't mind people doing the farming credits thing because its a strategy, not a glitch, but really if everyone has a zillion credits then people who don't cheat will get our chance at N7 weapons reduced.
My logic is this: If Bioware puts N7 weapons in 1 out of a 20 packs, then they can figure out how long it will take for most people who buy packs to level them up to X ( because they know how many credits are out there ). If they want the N7 weapons to be leveled up in about a year, they will just reduce the frequency that N7 weapons are placed in the packs. If you have a lot of credits, not really a problem - but honest players are seeing their chances reduced because they will not have inflated amounts of credits.

Once i saw a banshee grab someone, and BAM somthing it her pretty hard (not sure what it was), she wasn't killed but she released her prey.
Also, the cheater is not often what or who you think it is, today i experienced a strange bug at wave 7 (everything was fine until that), my weapon was running out of ammo and couldn't be reloaded, i also saw that none of my bullet were hitting my target, and all ennemy ignored me, i could only perform mele attack, but i'm not sure it was working ... it also seemed i was invicible aswell, in worste case i lost 20% of my shield, no more.
It was a bronze game to test a new character.

BioWare is aware of the cheating that is occurring in multiplayer. We believe our multiplayer mode is a valuable addition for our fans, and we hope you are having just as much fun as we are while playing co-op with
your friends.
For our fans, we acknowledge that some people are cheating. We are actively monitoring server logs since the Demo of Mass Effect 3 and when we find obvious signs of cheating, we are acting against those individuals. Our focus is to remove the type of cheating that is detrimental to the honest fans.
To some of you, it may appear that we are not doing anything against the cheaters. This is not true. However, we are being careful to ensure that the individuals flagged as cheaters are clearly and repeatedly cheating. We do not want to act against honest people.
If you feel your experience has been affected by playing with a cheater, please send us a message at me3mpcheaters@bioware.com. Please also add the Origin ID/Gamertag/PSN ID of the supposed cheater
along with the time of your match(es) with him and why you think this user has been cheating.
We appreciate you help and patience with this matter.
Even for Bioware, there is only so much a gaming company can do about online hacking/glitching/cheating/etc. The sad truth is that hackers will always be one step ahead of software companies such as Bioware, and any patches made to stop hacking are only temporary setbacks for hackers.

Circa FPS golden age on the PC, Unreal Tournament I think was all the rage at the time, people would write hacks so they could use autoaim bots instead of shooting. And that was in PvP mode. The reward? To watch your name at the top of a list of players for about 15 seconds before the next match began.
If people will spend hours writing code to hack games so that they can get to the top of a list nobody cares about (or maybe cares about for 15 seconds tops) then people will cheat, really, at anything.
I have the same answer for a lot of things. It isn't perfect but it works. Play with friends who don't cheat. Play with friends so you can lobby kick cheaters after a match. Let BioWare know. Avoid the player. Submit a complaint. Then be done and move on.

If they get banned, that's their fault, because their actions procured that result.
Frankly, I'm not usually this harsh, but I'm sick of hearing about it everywhere.

I've seen a gun on one of the maps way up in the air where no mobs can target him. He just snipes enemies all day long without worry.
I've seen that happen to someone else while I was the host. I'm pretty sure it was just lag. But he was a Sniper way in the air shooting everything and spazzing out like crazy invulnerable to attacks.
